I’ve used gas mowers for about 40+ years and finally decided to go “green” and get a battery mower. With so many brands to choose from, there was a very good video showing the 25” dual blade model place
in the top categories. I was concerned about how much time I would get with my batteries and so far I only used one of the dual 60v batteries. The extra width and the quiet motors actually make yard work enjoyable.

I am now swapping out the remainder of my yard tools to use the same battery platform.

The 60Vmower w/2 4.0 batteries is a well built mower. The dual blades are great…smooth and even cut. The dual batteries provide well over 1 hour of continuous cutting time. I am very happy with this mower.

I have mowed my yard twice with this mower prior to this review so I would have an idea how it performs. There does not seem to be a lack of power at all although in the Spring when the grass is thicker it will be tested a little more. But so far, even through tall grass, it has not had any issues. In face, I have yet to hear the mower increase power on its own. For a steel deck mower with a 25" cutting width it is also relatively light. Speaking of that cutting width, it is definitely nice and does seem to cut down on the time it takes to cut the yard. Adjusting the cutting deck height is a breeze with the single handle lever and takes next to no effort. Battery life has been very good so far. I can mow my entire yard and at the very end it has just switched over to the 2nd battery. This is not using the turbo feature and only occasionally using the self propel. The regular "high efficiency" blades that come on it don't have as clean a cut as my Honda mower. I plan to try the high lift blades in the Spring to see what difference they make. I'll give up some battery life for a little bit better of a cut. Even so, I'm still pleased with the mower and love not having to worry about gas/oil/spark plug/filter on a gas powered version. Suggested improvements would be figure out how to do a side discharge, improve the cut just a bit, and figure out how to re-position the self propel levers as I have already bumped into them several times while mowing and worry I'm going to break one off. Other than that, very happy with it and look forward to many years of use. I already had a Greenworks 60V weed eater and blower so this was a natural selection for me as far as a battery powered push mower.

Decent mower. When the self propelled stops you have to move it forward to reverse it. Not that easy to push when the self propelled is not active. Could use some tweaking. But over all not a bad mower.

After using it for the first time I was very pleased with its performance. It exceeded my expectations. My grass had not been mowed for 2 weeks a the mower did an excellent job. I would recommend it to everyone.

I've tried a couple of different electric lawn mowers and frankly, I hated mowing the grass because there was never enough power and the battery would die halfway through my yard. I would then have to stop for several hours (and sometimes have to wait until the next day) to finish the yard. Ever since switching to this Greenworks 60V, I can easily finish mowing my entire lawn with only a single charge on the batteries. Lots of the time, I have finished before even dipping into the second battery! The power is amazing, as it easily chews through thick patches of grass. The mulching option is also fantastic, so I don't even have to bag and empty clippings anymore! Best purchase I've made in a long time!
