Love the ease of this mower and the self propelled function. The battery transition is completely seamless. I was amazed how well it does my leaves and pine needles, too. I had shoulder surgery and could no longer "pull-start" my leaf vacuum. This is so easy to use with my shoulder injury.

Great mower, does the whole lawn. Grass is cut more fine than the gas mower before it.

This mower is exactly what I needed. It cuts my entire yard with one charge. It is much quieter than my gas powered mower. It does not pick up leaves as well as my gas powered mower, but it cuts well. Happy with this purchase.

Awesome mower. Great power. I can mow my 1/2 acre lot, house on the lot, and still had 3 bars left on the second battery. The ONLY thing I don’t like is when the battery switched over, it lost a bit of power prior. After that, it went like a bat out of hell. Takes a bit to figure out the self propel but otherwise, AWESOME.

Good quality but can't cut tall grasses on a natural meadow

I bought the Greenworks Pro 60V 25" self-propelled mower after using a Kobalt 80V Max 21" mower for several years. My Kobalt isn't self-propelled and I have 2 acres of natural meadow in rural Arizona with native bunchgrasses so it's quite a chore to mow. I paid the extra money for the wider cut and the self-propelled Greenworks, but I'm sorry to say the new mower is pretty ineffective on tall grasses. Here are some pros and cons.
Pros: The Greenworks Pro 60V comes with two 4-AMP-hr batteries! My Kobalt came with one 2-AMP-hr battery. So this extra juice is significant. It comes almost fully assembled, including the blades. Only the mower handle needs to be assembled. Easy to follow instructions. Solidly built. Propel speed levers easy to use and adjust. Quiet.
Cons: To get the wider cut (25") the mower has two small side-by-side blades instead of one big blade. This may work fine for traditional lawns but it does not cut tall grasses in natural meadows. I'm not sure why. Perhaps some engineer out there can explain it. No matter how many times I run back and forth over a tall clump of bunchgrass, the Greenworks mower leaves behind about 20% of the tall stems. My original Kobalt 80V Max with one 21" blade cuts tall grasses much more efficiently. One pass forward and one pass backward usually gets 95% of the grass stems. The Greenworks is less powerful than the Kobalt, even on the power boost setting, so if you have really thick grass, it might not be strong enough.
The inability of this Greenworks machine to meet my needs is largely the cause of my 3 star review. But my use case is pretty unusual. If you have a traditional lawn or a natural meadow with short grasses less than 18" tall, this machine will probably do fine.
