Getting used to how it works

When using the self propelled feature, it takes a moment to disengage before you can roll the mower backwards. Cuts well, and mulches really well!

early returns are good

i just bought it and had to try it out. It took a few minutes to get used to the controls and how it behaves but it's fairly simple. It handled a mild slope and my zoysia just fine. I only did my front yard ( about 5k sf) and used about 1/2 of one battery. Hoping i can do the back on the remaining.

Decent Mower

The mower works well but does bog down occasionally and I wish it had a little longer battery life. But, for simplicity of operating and quality of cut I give it a solid 4.5 rating.

Love this mower. very powerful and of course with both batteries does not stop mid mow like the smaller version does. little difficult to get the handles to snap into place when assembling but overall a great mower that rivals gas mowers

Good machine, documentation not as good

I've had this mower for 2 days, so I can't speak to durability yet. I expect it to last though.
I'm giving it a 4 star rating for to Greenwork's communication issues.
Based on my current experience I'd give the machine itself a 5 star review.
I have about 1.5 acres and have only mowed about .5 acres so far. My ground is sandy and very uneven due to moles. The grass was also way past due for mowing. Some clumps of grass were 12" tall or more, but most of the grass was closer to 6".
The mower did very well on the seriously uneven surface. It got most of the tallest grass in one pass and virtually all of it on the second. One pass was fine for the six inch or so grass.
Self-propelled is essential for most of my lawn due to the soft and uneven soil. It wasn't too hard to push with out self-propell on firmer ground.
Self-propell speed is a bit hard to dial in as precisely as I would like, but that probably had a lot to do with soft ground and various heights and thickness of the grass, weeds, and mole hills.
Unfortunately the manual misses a couple of very important pieces of information. You do not have to use both batteries at the same time. If you can finish the job using just the two batteries then the switch-over is great and you are all set. But, if they don't last long enough then use one at a time and recharge the other one at the same time. The battery will charge to over 75% and perhaps as much as 95% while you're using the fresh one. I stopped after 2 hours, but using this technique in sure that 4 hours would be ready to achieve. I'm not sure how long is ok to keep the mirror running, but since you can use 6ah batteries I don't think that 4 hours is even close to an issue.
The grass bag is really easy to put on and take off. The mulch plug is too *once* you figure out how to take it out when you get the mower (pull up and out at the same time). I'm not that only one who initially hated the company for leaving that instruction out. When you get it home getting the mulch plug should not be an issue, but it was. And since sorry was closed at the time it made it all the more disappointing.
The manual is well written except where is isn't :-) Instructions for removing the mulch plug are not present. They don't say why they recommend certain things. Why not leave the batteries in the mower if you're going to use it in a day or two or even a week? What happens if you leave the batteries charging for a day or a week, etc.? Information on the seven height adjustment settings isn't in the manual.
In their website there's a Q&A section. While answers from the staff are gererally good, sometimes they provide incomplete or completely useless answers. Sometimes actual users are required to answer the question that was actually asked.
If anything changes significantly then I'll update my review. I expect to continue loving the mower and wishing the instructions and online answered were more complete. For the most part the instructions are good, but the omissions can be very frustrating.
If give it a 4.5 but it has to be docked for the communication issues. When their answers are marked as unhelpful they need to pay attention and fix them.
There is a bit of a learning curve for a few things, like banking up the mower, but the leaving curve is really short

Does the job with less hassle than a gas push mower. Love the larger 25in cut radius and the easy to adjust hieght. Batteries do not last as long as I would like but got a 3rd battery with a leaf blower which provides infinite mowing.
