Great performance!

After doing some extensive research following the purchase of my first home, I plumped for the Greenworks 60V 21-inch cordless brushless mower. My yard is somewhere between 1/3 to 1/2 acre and this mower has no problem covering the ground on a single charge, even despite the lawn being overgrown having had at least a month between cuts during summer.
Performance was consistent the entire time, with the motor kicking on when encountering particularly heavy grass. The weigh is a non-issue even on the moderate hill on my property so the lack of self-propulsion was not missed. Easy clean up and storage only add to the benefits of this quiet, energy efficient machine. Simple to assemble out of the box and easy to start every time this mower perfectly fits my needs and strikes the perfect balance of power and ease of use for my needs. Will be looking to expand my range of Greenworks products soon to take advantage of the 4.0Ah battery.
If you're on the fence, all I can say this seems like the right fit for anyone looking to be maintenance free without sacrificing performance and I can vouch for it's ability to cover up to 1/2 acre on full charge (just shy of an hour of cut time).

I have not purchased this lawn mower but have seen it in the store. I am impressed by the build as it seems quite sturdy. I am very interested in a battery powered mower for my next mower since I have to get a battery to start one anyway - can't pull the cord anymore. And this just makes a lot of sense. The size is the same as my current one, so I'm happy with that!

21-Inch Self Propelled Brushless Lawn Mower

Very quite lawn mower. Does a great job; however, if the wheels are set low, it tends to get stuck if the surface being mowed is not level.

We're very pleased with our purchase of this mower. Our yard isn't huge so this worked perfectly. The battery lasts me around 30 mins or so. Much easier to maneuver than a gas powered one.

Mow with freedom

Now I can mow without gas, spark plugs, tune-ups, winter preparation and electric power cords. No matter how long it sits, it starts right up, without pulling any cords. The battery life is good for mowing the whole lawn. The mower is light in comparison to gas mowers and is self-propelled. This mower has made mowing a much easier task and has set me free from maintenance.

Great Mower

Great mower! Recently purchased to replace my corded mower and can’t believe I didn’t switch sooner. I have zoysia grass and was concerned it might be to thick, but that wasn’t an issue. Mower works great easy to push and gets the job done. Battery life is great...I’m able to cut the yard and blow the whole yard with one battery. I’ve own other GreenWorks tools and this was another great addition to my collection?

By-George, I think you’ve done it!

By-George, I think they’ve done it!
The 60v self-propelled mower by Greenworks is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I can honestly say, I was super excited to get the mower home, unpack it, attach the handle (two bolts) and instantly begin mowing.. but only after admiring the engineering of the thing of course. I love the bright green as well as the black accents. The ins-and-outs of it’s mechanics are very simple, they’ve really done a nice job with the ease of going from one setting to another, I.E. the different transformations like side shoot, mulching, bagging, all very capable and easily switched when needed. No fancy levers, or time-consuming effort. It’s quick and efficient. The deck-level adjustment handle is simply ingenious. It takes less effort to raise and lower the deck than it does to tie your shoe. It’s really well done.
Once you get going, you’re amazed at what speed the mower can achieve. I’m very tall wit a long stride, and surprisingly, it moved at quite-the-clip! Impressive speed! Other mowers I’ve owned were just a tad toooo slow. This was a pleasant surprise! It’s the speed is very variable. You have to get used to letting off the right lever while keeping the blades spinning, it only takes a little time and your golden.
Hill Climb: I tested it by running the self-propelled action up my ditch, which is a rather steep grade. It passed easily pulling me along with it. Very impressive!
The mower’s drive propulsion does have sound, it sounds like an electric car sounds, a slight ‘whiiiiir’ as it propels forward. Once you push the lock-out button and pull the blade engagement lever, the blade spins into action. It’s effortless! I’m lucky enough to have a number of batteries on charge, so once one runs low, just slap in another! I mow certain areas of my acre property with it, up hills, in between utility boxes, it does great!
When you’re done, the mower folds and stands on end! Thank you to the engineering guys/gals who thought this up. It tucks in nicely in front of my riding mower, getting out of the way unlike my old dinosaur Honda Push Mower who always seems to be in the way!
Pros:
The adjustment handle is ingenious.
Sturdy feeling
It looks a little small - but this is good. It doesn’t have to support r house an enormous gas engine.
FAST and Quiet!
Love the looks.
Fold up and store design is awesome!
Gets great results after mowing
NO FUMES on my clothing!
Cons:
Not many, but I was surprised to see only one blade. It gets the job done though!
The bag material feels a little thin
Just be ready, every neighbor will approach you and want to try it! :)
