Great cut. I can mow my 1/3 acre with the supplied battery and one extra that came with my leaf blower. The batteries do take some time (1 or 2 cuts) to break in and reach full capacity.
Bought this mower about 2 months ago, have used it 4 times so far and love it! Great mower to use only 2 bars battery to finish front and back yard in no time and quiet, eco-friendly! Only complain I have so far is clippings keep falling off even it is not very full. Hope this mower will last us years to come! Great product so far, thanks!
Used 3 times since purchasing several weeks ago. Very satisfied so far. Cuts and mulches very well. Lightweight and easy to maneuver. The battery has lasted approximately 1 hour each use. Would definitely recommend based upon my experience so far.
I had a defective battery and contacted Giulio with this issue. He was most helpful in explaining what was required of me. Long story short, I was sent a replacement battery. Happy with the quick response by Greenworks.
Received my 25 inch mower and so far, after using it about 4 times, I like it a lot. 4 instead of 5 stars because there is no side discharge option. Otherwise it does what it says it will. Time will tell on durability and service.
Mower cuts well even with our thick St Augustine lawn but battery ran out about 2/3 through the job (we have less than 1/4 acre lot including the house). So a second battery is a must. Now I just have to find somewhere to buy one since Greenworks does not have them in stock. BTW Powerworks 60v 5.0 Ah battery does not fit. Since Greenworks makes Powerworks why can't you make one that fits both?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello JulieG,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the battery life. The run time of a lawnmower is dependent on the load acting against the unit and fluctuates depending on the height setting, the terrain, grass height, type of grass, whether you are mulching etc - there are so many factors to consider. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few tips to help you extend the run time. 1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time. 2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass and ensure that grass is dry. 3) Only use the self-propelled feature when needed. We hope these tips will help you with the issue you have encountered. I have a lot of grass to mow. I have a large lawn surrounding gardens and 2 acres of Christmas Trees. For many years I’ve used a large 33” commercial mower for the lawns (and a high wheel mower in the trees) and struggled with the 33” matching, especially on sloped ground. I did a lot of research before deciding on the Greenworks 25” and having just put it to work for 45 minutes today, I can’t be happier.
The Greenworks produces a cleaner more even cut, is easier to maneuver and quieter.
It is true, as some other reviewers have noted, that when you disengage the drive wheels, it takes a moment for the wheels to actually roll free (and enable easy reverse pulling) but this isn’t a major issue and with some use becomes easy to adjust to.
The multiple height adjustment is a great feature, especially when the grass is a bit higher than normal.
Doe's what it is designed to do. Do not use on wet grass, because it will bog down and not be as efficient. Wet grass sticks to underside and hampers the mower. Takes me about 2 hours to mow and can do it with the 5 amp and 4 amp battery even using the self propel on up slopes. Hedge trimmer and blower are very good. The hedge trimmer works better than my electric corded one. Batteries are way too expensive.
