Lawnmower not made for thick grass!

This lawnmower isn't made for cutting thick grass. I have two batteries, and they both went dead on me trying to cut the back yard. Very disappointed and now I have an incomplete yard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the run time that you are receiving. The run time of a lawnmower is dependent on the load acting against the unit and fluctuates depending on the height setting, the terrain, grass height, type of grass, whether you are mulching etc - there are so many factors to consider. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few tips to help you extend the run time. 1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time. 2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass. 3) Make sure that the grass is dry. Long lasting and easy to use!

Bought this three years ago. Been mowing our front and back yard as well as a small one or two acre field in our neighborhood. Time to sharpen blades but she runs strong!

I had my doubts about a battery powered mower, but so far I can say I'm impressed. I had shoulder surgery in the past and wanted mower that is easy to start and easy to use.

I've had a few lawn movers in my time, but this is by far the best. It's well-built, has great features, and does a fabulous job of mowing. I especially like the ability to control the self propelling feature. This cuts my mowing time in half!

Good cut, a little more battery life would make it

I've been using this for 3 months including the rainy spring "I can see the grass growing" season. So far its handled anything I've asked it to do; from 2 week growth, because it was too wet to mow, to ok still a bit wet, but another storm is on the way., so its now or 3 days from now. However I've needed the top end of the battery charge to do some of this and the power fades noticeably. Enough so that I skimp on using the self propelled feature and make sure I do the toughest areas first and I still can't cut my front and back yards one one charge - total under 6000 sq ft with some mild slopes. I could probably get the whole yard on one charge in the much hotter, dryer summer. Shipping and assembly were outstanding. Arrived in under a week at the start of the serious 2020 shipping crunch. Assembly required only attaching the upper part of the handle. All cords and cables already connected.

got this a few months ago its ruined gas mowers for me. Great build quality, plenty of battery my 1/4 acre lot doesn't even put a dent in the charge, this unit is super quiet, I love that it folds up for storage and I never have to worry about spark plugs, oil or gas. Only minor complaint is that there seems to be a small ramp up when you engage the self propel mode, but I've gotten use to it.
Love this mower!

This is the best lawnmower hands down. We were very satisfied with the greenworks pro dual blade lawnmower. It made cutting our lawn a breeze the perfect cut every time. The self propelled feature was the best it shaved about 30 minutes off of our yard work. The batteries stay charged for a long time. All I can say is EXCELLENT craftsmanship and DURABILITY and PERFORMANCE we are very satisfied customers.
