My new lawn mower was delivered in May 2022 I've already used it 4 times. What can I say, it's quiet, powerful came with two 60v batteries and the charger. When one battery drains down, it automatically switches to the 2nd battery without missing a beat. If it comes across taller and thicker grass it automatically goes into turbo mode, or you can put it in turbo mode manually. It has a 25 inch cutting path and dual blades. Without a doubt the best mower I've ever owned. Oh yeah, and no gas, oil, noise and exhaust. With todays gas prices this mower has been a blessing.
an electric mower that cuts as well as a gas mower

Finally. I have been hating my gas mower for years but was unwilling to trade in for an electric mower that cuts grass poorly or that has a battery life that meant I had to mow in stages. The 60 volt 25" mower cuts like a dream. It takes about two hours to mow our lawn. The mower has two batteries. Once one battery is dead it goes in the charger, when the second one dies the first battery goes back in the mower only partially charged but is enough to finish the lawn.
Best tool I’ve bought in a very long time. No more gas. No more space issues. Fold it up and stand it against the wall. Looking to see what else I can replace in my shed with Greenworks
The machine is awesome, easy to operate and have not had any problems with it. Have used it three times already, love it so much very quite. My son used it this morning and he also couldn’t believe how awesome it is to operate.
I’ve had this mower for a month now, and I’m thrilled with the performance. The batteries are more than enough to cover my yard, the frame is durable, the mower is light — I’ve never finished a yard so quickly
First of all, I love this lawn mower. I have a 2 year old gas powered top of the line lawn mower that's worked great for me. However, because of the size of my lawn (my property sits on 3/4 acre), I wanted something wider than 21" and that is battery powered. I looked at riding lawn mowers but always feel like getting as close to my lawn a possible and sitting, riding around wouldn't do it for me. Enters the 25" Greenworks' Brushless Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower w/ (2) 4.0Ah Batteries and Charger.
I had to get on a waitlist to finally get it, and the price went up by then but it made me more determined to get the machine. To be sure, I was skeptical of the brand since I don't own anything from Greenworks and I have other battery powered equipment that I have enjoyed. However, seeing that mainstream retail outlets carry the brand, I was emboldened to give it try. If nothing else, it'll save me trips to the gas station, frustration about disposing of gas at the end of the season, and help with the climate!
When it came, it was simple to assemble and get going. I charged the battery fully, although it indicated it had sufficient charge to complete a good portion of my lawn. Once ready to go, it took a minute to figure out the controls but quite simple as I felt completely in control after that first mowing run. Having only owned the mower for about two months, I continue to learn more about it. I enjoy using so much that I mow more than once a week at times now because it's more efficient than my 21" mower and no preparations needed to get started.
It's lighter than my old lawn mower and I'm conflicted on whether that's a good or bad thing. Lighter means it is more easily maneuverable with space-saving storage option, but that also makes it a bit jumpy when going over grass terrain that is bumpy, not giving the smoothest mowing look over the grass. But, I don't think twice going over the lawn again because it's fun to do. I suspect that's a trade-of I will accept in light of the other substantial benefits of owning the new machine.
Finally, my yard consists of three major lawn areas which could be about 1/2 an acre in total. This Pro 60V 25” Brushless Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower chews through the yard with plenty of juice left in the 2nd of the two 60V batteries.
If you're on the edge, I'd say go-for-it! You won't regret it.
