The mower is great except for a few minor issues: When it is propelled forward and you stop, it takes a long moment for it to disengage It would handle a bit better with swivel wheels optional on the front. The forward motion clutch is a bit cumbersome with a lever to engage but also another button to set the speed of the forward motion In the end, I have mowed lawns professionally and I own all Greenworks lawn equipment and would buy then all again The battery power is very good, it cuts the grass great,
I've had this for 2 months now. Wanted the 25" deck to reduce mowing time and it has done just that. Cuts and bags great even in thick, heavy grass. Battery life is great, mowing my quarter acre never switches over to the 2nd battery.
I have been using the mower for a month or so now, and probably used it about 5 times so far. I mow my 3/4 acre on a regular basis (almost twice a week). The live of the batteries is good, and I am able to cut the whole lawn mulching the grass on a single charge. When I am finished, I just put the batteries into the charger, and get that going while I spray off the mower. I have actually found that I can cut the grass higher than before, which i like. I have sad sections of the lawn that were high, or dense, and so I turned on turbo mode which also worked well. I find that the self-propelled aspect works good, and I love that you can adjust the speed with your thumbs wile you are mowing. I also find that the drive mechanism takes a little time to get used to. It seems to stay engaged for a little while after you release the levers that makes it hard to change direction quickly. I have changed my behavior to compensate. I release the drive levers with a few steps to go as I reach the end of the row and push a few steps. This gives the mower a few steps to disengage the drive, so I can turn when I reach the end of the row. I also notice that the "vaccuum" aspect of this mower is less than my ICE mower. It is not a big deal currently because I am mulching, but expect when I am trying to use it with the bagger to pick up leaves in the fall will be trouble. I think there are few things that make the mowing experience different, but for the convenience of not having to buy and transport gas, the reduction in noise, and benefits to the environment make it all worthwhile.
Ok, just used my new 25” for the first time. Was very impressed with the run time. I have 2/3 of an acre (minus house and pool) and completed the mow with 2 bars left ( of 8 total with 2 batteries). Pictures don’t show it but I have a pretty good slope in the backyard. Only used self-propel a couple of times cuz I like mowing for exercise. Easier to push than my gas mower. After use, haven’t cleared out space in the garage for another mower, but didn’t matter. It folds up very easily, rolls on the wheels like a luggage carrier and stores in very little space. So now the reason for the 3 stars. The whole reason I bought the mower was so my wife could help me mow and get some exercise doing it. I’m 6’1” and the handlebar feels too high for me. My 5’4” wife tried it and said “no way!” When I push it up a hill I feel like I’m pushing the bar over my head and lifting the back tire off the ground. Not sure why it’s so high in the first place but should at least have an adjustment. My shoulders hurt after mowing from having been held so high and pushing at an awkward angle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This mower is a dream, went from 19" 56v to the 60v Pro 25". It used to take 4 batteries to do my lawn. Now I can get it done usually with 1 battery. The power assist is a great option since this mower weighs a bit more than my old mower.
