I ordered this mower at the beginning of summer. I could not wait to get it. We got it out of the box and couldn’t wait to start mowing. After I mowed my lawn I wanted to mow everyone’s yard. It’s amazing.
I did not expect such a powerfull mower. Great torque and power even in damp thick bermuda. Only issue I have is with the standard blade. I mulch so the std blade does not fine chop &/or create enough vacuum to get some longer bermuda strands. Solved with a mulching blade substitution.
I bought does lawn mower today 60 volt Max brushless lithium ion self-propelled 21 inch cordless electric lawn mower battery included awesome deal awesome lawn mower!
I could not be happier with my new battery powered self-propelled lawn mower. I only wish I would have purchased it years ago. The thought of no more messing around with gasoline, oil, spark plugs, etc. makes me extremely happy. Just one touch of the button to get it started is almost like magic. I especially like the ease of lowering or raising the height of the wheels and the blade with just a little pump of the lever. I am only 5'2" and just over 100 pounds and mowing the yard was always somewhat of a hassle, even with a self-propelled lawnmower. Now, it is so easy. And last, but not least, it is so quiet, you will never wake up the neighbors. This machine is a dream.
This mower cuts and mulches, has a grass catcher if the grass is too long, and very light and easy to use. I’m 64 and have no problem using it - never have to get gas again. When I am done I simply put the battery on the charger and it is ready for next time. I mow a third of an acre, part of which has a hillside and no problem with it flipping.
I had some issues with shipping. I was initially shipped a damaged unit. But the customer service was very responsive and sent me a replacement. Haven't had any issues so far.
When I first purchased this mower a few months ago, I could cut my entire yard on one full charge. The battery would have almost 40 min worth of runtime and now I can not even finish my front yard on a full charge...it will last maybe 15 minutes! The mower cuts very well, when it’s running. This battery is just HORRIBLE & a replacement battery is more than half the cost of the original purchase price of my mower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello James Boyett,
We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this battery. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. If the battery has been stored with little to no charge for a long period of time, the battery will go into recovery mode, which will take 24 hrs. to recharge. This helps enhance the life of the battery. Once it is fully charged, the next charge will return to standard charging. Please know that our batteries are covered by a manufactures warranty from the date of purchase. We hope these tips will help you however, if they do not please kindly contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance.
