Coming from a corded 21' Greenworks unit which we had used for 8+ years. Mower is exceptionally quiet, the self-propelled system is wonderfully easy to handle. Using mower is not much more effort than just walking. Easy to turn. The mower also fills the extra large grass bag very well.
1/3 acre lawn, was able to do everything with one of the two batteries. With battery degredation over the years the dual batteries will be useful in the future. Couldn't be happier about the product.
I used this mower the same day I got it. It had rained that morning waited until grass had dried ,the grass was 3 1/2 - 4 inches high .The mower had no problem cutting it. The only time it pushed hard was when grass catcher was full. I was very Impressed.
The 60v 4ah dual battery setup is the confidence i need to complete the cut

Not bad Greenworks, welcome to the game. The 60v self propelled lawnmower with 2x 4ah batteries does the job with confidence. I no longer fear that I will run out of battery power during the cutting. I have a half an acre to cut each week, and I find that I'm mostly using the first battery only. And I know that if I end up missing a week, using the Turbo button for the taller grass through out the mowing process won't keep me from finishing the cut. Hoping for the best, eager to see where this goes. Best Regards
I have borrowed a neighbors a few times and finally have one of my own. Great power, good cutting, and long battery life. Excited to sell the old gas mower at a yard sale and not worry about all the maintenance r
Does the job with less hassle than a gas push mower. Love the larger 25in cut radius and the easy to adjust hieght. Batteries do not last as long as I would like but got a 3rd battery with a leaf blower which provides infinite mowing.
I’ll skip the basics as most people on this site are familiar with Greenworks. Pros: handles my entire 1/3 acre yard on one charge. Excellent cut quality, even when mowing tall grass, light and easy to handle, terrific cutting width, responsive controls, onboard battery charger info, and simple unboxing. Cons: they aren’t big issues, but the mower was shipped to me and the lightweight box showed damage and the packing material was light too, and the levers for starting and running the self-propelled function are very lightweight plastic. That said, the mower itself wasn’t damaged when I unboxed it, and the control levers seem to work fine.
Works great for my 6500 square feet yard. Glad I purchased this mower. Just push the button and go. Cuts the grass good. No complaints. I recommend g to this mower.
Got the opportunity to use this mower for a month (cutting lawn four times) and a leading competitors that sells for the same price. The Greenworks PRO was inferior by far. Grass was often nocked down and not cut in spots (brand new blade), mulch was thick and clumpy, and the battery ran out before I could finish my sub .25 acre lawn. I was able to mow the same lawn 2.5 times with competitors same size battery. After actual side by side comparison, I'd say avoid this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello znova,
We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this lawn mower. It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life, here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time. 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. 5) Only use the self-propelled feature when needed. We hope these tips will help.
