It doesn't pick up the leaves only needs a small adjustment on the blades, the rest is perfect! Tools you need to do the adjustment: Strength Benchtop, Circular Saw and Adjustable wrench.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my 6 year old 21" Greenworks that I loved. I hoped the additional width would help reduce my time spent mowing and that has happened beyond my expectations. I work very hard to have a thick lawn and combined with spring rains it made it a requirement to bag the yard with my gas mowers and my 80V Pro. First time out for the season was tall but with the two blades, I decided to try to mulch and just raised the mower to 4 and went for it. It didn't bog down and the yard that has taken 1:30-1:45 to mow in the past was done in less than an hour and the mower didn't even switch to the second battery! Four mowings in with similar results and I am beyond blown away. If you have a larger yard, get the 25" the time you save will be well worth the slightly extra expense. The only suggestion that I would ask of greenworks is that I wish it had been offered in an 80V version of this mower for those of us that went all in on the 80V line. All of my blowers, tiller, snow blower, string trimmer, etc were 80V. I'm glad I didn't let it stop me from buying it.

Very Happy With My New 60V 25" Pro Mower

For those of you who might need to buy a new lawn mower in the future, I received my new battery operated Greenworks 60v 25" Pro self propelled lawn mower a few months ago. I took advantage of the fall discounts. I was originally looking for a gasoline powered lawn mower, but stumbled upon a review of electric lawn mowers. It piqued my interest, and after doing some more research on the subject, I finally decided on this Greenworks model.
I mowed my entire 1/3 acre (plus) lawn with it, and when finished, the battery indicator showed that I still had about 25% battery life left. That's pretty impressive. When one battery drains all the way, the second battery takes over. It has two 60 volt batteries, and yes, it came with a battery charger capable of charging both batteries at the same time :-) Only about 30 minutes to charge both batteries. You can also charge one battery while using the other. The only down time would be a few moments to swap batteries.
The grass in some areas was pretty thick, and it didn't labor at all. If by chance the grass is too tall in certain areas, there is a turbo button that boosts the power. Of course, the battery will discharge quicker as a result...but I didn't need it, so it did not affect me. The self propelled feature can be turned on or off with a simple lever control, and it has a sliding adjustment for speed similar to a light dimmer. It can move very slowly (turtle) or at a brisk pace (hare). Without the use of the drive system, it pushes fairly easily since it is lighter than a gasoline mower. The drive has plenty of torque, so mowing uphill was effortless. Another couple of advantages I was happy with is that when I go to store it during the winter months, I can simply hang it on the wall or fold it up and store in a corner.....and when I go to use it months later, it will start right up in the spring! No stale gasoline or oil to worry about.
It's now mid November, and leaves are beginning to fall from the trees. I've used it a few times to mulch the leaves, and it did a great job of mulching. So far I am very happy with this machine. It's a real game changer in lieu of using a gasoline powered mower.

Best lawnmower I ever had

I have only used this lawnmower a few times but so far I could not be more satisfied. It's very easy to use and does an excellent job mowing the lawn. The 2 batteries have more than enough power to mow my entire lawn. I have been able to mow my just under 1/2 an acre of grass essentially using just 1 battery as it just switches to the second battery as I am finishing up. Even better considering that it's spring and the grass has been damp and growing like crazy and I have been using the high lift blades in mulching mode. With the 2 blades and extra few inches of width, it also mows more quickly than the standard gas mowers I previously used. It now takes me 40 minutes to mow when before it was 1 hour. It's also lighter than my gas mower and most of the time I don't need to use the drive wheels and can easily push with my own power. It's a lot quieter and I don't have to deal with gas and the service to keep the gas engine running. The fact that I have the 60 volt Greenworks string trimmer and blower that uses the same batteries is fantastic too.

Great Mower

I am using the mower on a 1/4 acre lot. This is one of the fastest mowers I have owned. The 25 inch has cut 20 minutes off the time it takes with a 21 inch mower. It still has half the charge on the second battery when the lawn has been cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Greenworks Pro-60-volt SP 25" Dual Blade Mower was easy to assemble and maneuver onto my backyard grass, which really needed cutting. Placing the batteries and grass bag didn't require great skill because the instructions were not difficult to follow, and the batteries charged up quickly. The Greenworks mower was easy to start and stopping it proved the Greenworks Pros ease of functionality and well made product. I cut my yard quickly and effectively, the Greenworks mower got the job done exactly as I expected. I highly recommend the new Greenworks Pro - 60-volt SP 25" Dual Blade Mower with one 4 Ah and one 2 Ah Battery, Charger!

Good Mower

I am very happy with my new mower. Turbo mode powers through when I let it go too long between cutting or when I am mulching leaves. Plenty of power and the wider deck takes my cutting time to under an hour.
Only downside is the cut is not the best. Okay if you are laid back like me.
