[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a someone who last used a Ryobi mower, i was pleasantly surprised how well it mowed. It is certainly more powerful than the previous mower that I had. The dual blades is very nice and the auto switching batteries is excellent.

I've had this mower for 5 years now so I feel like I can give a legitimate review. The mower is well built if not even heavy duty, and very convenient with the batteries and storage of the unit. However, I find that it just isn't a very good cutter.. particular with something with two counter rotating blades. I believe it to be multiple reasons... The two small blades have very little cutting surface and almost no flip to the back.. they just don't create much suction to hold the blade up or to keep the grass clippings in for multiple cuts. The inside of the deck doesn't have any interesting baffles or anything to help out either. Lastly I think the blade speed is fairly slow compared to a gas mower. You can use "Turbo", but it wears the batteries down very quickly. It does a horrible job picking up leaves in the fall, it just mostly blows them around. My original two batteries are still functional although one only seems to manage about 50% if it's original charge holding capability... The other one I would say is probably at about 85 to 90. I have since bought two new 4amp batteries to supplement the other two. Overall it's a good product, but the cut quality is subpar. I believe redesign of the blades would go a long way to fixing the issues, but greenworks doesn't seem to think so obviously..... I think this mower has been out for 7 years.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet

Hello Razzy.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review after five years of use. We value that level of insight. We are glad to hear the mower has held up well and continues to deliver on durability and convenience, especially with battery longevity over time. We understand your concerns regarding cut quality, suction, and leaf pickup, and there are a few factors that can influence performance in these areas. Over time, blades can become dull or worn, which reduces lift and overall cutting efficiency, so sharpening or replacing them, and ensuring they are installed correctly, can make a noticeable difference. Keeping the underside of the deck clean is also important, as buildup can disrupt airflow and impact both cutting and mulching performance. Additionally, battery condition plays a role in maintaining optimal blade speed, so using fully charged or newer batteries can help improve consistency, particularly when using higher power modes like Turbo. For tougher conditions such as longer grass or leaf pickup in the fall, adjusting the cutting height or making multiple passes can also help improve results. We appreciate your feedback regarding blade design and airflow, and insights like yours are shared with our product team as we continue to refine and improve future models. If you would like, our team would be happy to work with you directly to review your setup and help optimize performance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us on either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used it 3 times but it has better suction than my 8 year old Greenworks 21" lawnmower. It runs great, has the option to run it faster and the dual battery means I have no issues completing the lawn without a battery dying before I'm complete. The dual fast charger is great too. This fall running the lawnmower, leaf blower and weedwhacker having no issues with batteries and getting the job done without waiting for a charge. Great update from my original mower.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Effective, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm coming from a 21in deck into this 25in. It mows faster, and has extra perks over my old gas mower. I really like that it comes with a dual charger. I'm not a professional mower but the cut quality was good enough for me. The only thing I've noticed was right at the end of my mowing the motor reved up and I'm not sure why. The battery was close to being out so I'm not sure if it was doing some power transfer from battery to battery but something to keep an eye on. I've really enjoyed it though so far.
