Easy to assemble, quite operation and handles the cut really week. Can get the whole yard done one one battery in just under and hour of constant operation. Pleased with how long the batter lasts. Happy to be able to get rid of the gas can in the garage!
The mower is very mobile despite having the 25” cutting width. I charge the batteries in my shed using four 100 W solar panels and 1100 W inverter. So far I haven’t needed to charge for more than approx one hour to get both batteries fully charged. It lifts the grass clipping into the bag more efficiently than my old mower.
I bought my greenworks 25" mower a couple of months ago after a long time researching and I have used it several times. It cuts great. It is also quiet so I can listen to podcasts or music easily while mowing. I guess I would say it sounds like a pedestal fan- not loud at all The battery life is better than I expected. I mow approximately 2/3 of an acre with many obstacles and sometimes I don't even use up the first 4ah battery. I used to hate mowing with my old mower. To be honest, I still don't like mowing that much, but it's so much nicer with a quiet, clean electric versus the old loud smelly gas mower. I wish I would have purchased an electric mower sooner and I hope to eventually upgrade to an electric rider. I am very pleased with my greenworks purchase.
It’s nice having 25”. I can’t imagine mowing with the 21”. The batteries are kinda heavy to change when carrying both in and out. But they charge great and super easy to install.
We purchased this mower last month for a 2nd home in NH. The lawn was really over-grown because the 17" gas mower the previous owners left behind wasn't really "cutting" it. I cut through around 1 1/2 acres before the batteries started losing strength. I charged the batteries for a couple hours, then finished the yard. The mover cuts evenly. The self-propel works great on hills once you get used to it. Super glad I purchased this mower!
After our gas powered mower started falling apart, we finally took a chance and tried going electric. I've only used it about 5 times, but it is a game-changer! Quiet, efficient and holds a charge. We also purched a 60v chainsaw, so have a backup battery when needed, but for normal length grass I am able to complete our large property and still have a charge. Love it.
