This is our second set of equipment only because I gifted my old set to an old roommate and bought another! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have hated mowing knowing I was damaging the environment burning gas. After seeing that Consumer Report rated Greenworks as their #1 battery operated lawn mower, I went for it. I am so glad! This mower is so light that when I mow the hill in my front yard I don't feel like I'm also lugging a boulder back and forth. With the GW mower, mowing the hill was easy and it's so light, so easy to turn. And I no longer have to wear ear protection! Even though it's a bit louder than I expected, I could probably have a conversation with someone while I mowed without yelling.

The battery life has not been as long as originally expected, but I am dealing with heavy spring grass and a property with a lot of grading. I think what I have gotten so far has been fair, and I expect it to improve significantly as it heats up this summer. Mower is super easy to use, very quiet in comparison to a gas mower, and pretty maneuverable once you get the hang of the drivetrain.
