A very capable replacement for a 21 inch gas mower. Lighter easier to maneuver just enough assist with self propelled function if one needs a little extra help. Recommend not letting grass get long enough to need to bag it as that’s where the time saving shows with a 25 inch deck and conserves battery life.

Had it 2 years. Great mower, I have a 1/2 acre, I do back of yard using one battery, charge it while I start the front, and a water break, When the other battery runs out I swap it with the charged one. I just saw they have a riding electric. May look into it for next year, looks great.

My 21" gasoline mower finally bit the dust, I had been wanting to move to an electric mower for a few years for my 0.25acre lot, the opportunity had come. I have had a good experience with our Greenworks pressure washer, so decided to go the same route for the mower. So far it's been a treat to use. Doesn't even burn through the 1st battery all the way in a mow, and that's with using the self-propelled function for about 80% of the mow. I have a very up and down yard, with a large drainage swale in our backyard, so self-propulsion is a must for us. I absolutely noticed the larger deck size as well, you wouldn't think the +4" width would matter too much, but when you really think about it, that's almost 20% wider and the reduced passes added up. Of note, still fits through a standard fence gate just fine. Also the dual battery charger works great, and I like that it has a fan placed to blow through the mesh on the batteries while it charges them, that's thoughtful design.

Broke the 2nd time I used it. Hit a root and the gear that powers the twin blades stripped and locked up the system. You shouldn’t hit roots, but it happens and it shouldn’t be the end of the mower. Emailed tech support and haven’t heard back.

Quiet and wide cut

Replaced my gas mower with this one for the extra 4" cutting width and the simplicity of batteries. The dual blade design keeps the mower smaller front to back while getting a nice wide cut. It is very quiet. My wife no longer hears me from inside. Rear wheel drive is nice for the hills. It is definitely not as strong as my gas mower and if you were cutting thick and tall grass regularly I don't think you would be thrilled. For normal cutting on Bluegrass it is doing a good job.

The batteries used the first time mowing was 1 1/4 packs; the second time I lowered the deck and it took 2 1/4 packs and once I determined the right deck height and speed setting (about 1/2), it consistently requires 1 1/4 packs of batteries for approximately 6500 square feet of Saint Augustine & Bahia mix. The blades maintain sharpness after 5 mowings. It is easy maintenance, cleaning and storage plus there is no smell and it is relatively quiet. Overall I rate this mower 5 of 5 stars!!!
