Nice and Lightweight

My wife said she would help with the grass cutting if I got her a lightweight mower because our Top of the Line Gas Mower was too heavy and hard to maneuver. I went to the Internet and started looking at the Battery Rechargeable Mowers. I eventually landed on the Green works website and all the reviews I read were positive so I decided to take a chance. After reading all the material I charged the 2 batteries and put it to work. It is so lightweight and easy to maneuver that I gave it to my wife to give it her blessing. She loves it and agreed we made the right choice. The 2 Batteries Charged in less than an hour which is convenient. I can actually mow the entire yard on 1 Charge so I'm parking my gas mower and just using the Green Works. It is leaf dropping time where we live and the mower does an excellent job picking up leaves with the Rear Bag attached. I inadvertently discovered a nice safety feature that I didn't see covered in the Manual. When the mower is stored in the vertical position and the batteries and key are installed, you can't start the mower. This is especially critical because the blade is exposed so there is no way you can accidentally get the blade spinning in this position. I would definitely recommend this mower. If anyone is apprehensive using a battery operated mower, like I was, rest assured this mower will do the job of any gas mower on a reasonably lot size.
anytime my son using the Pro 60V Brushless 21 not a word of complaining Lol. I've agreed with him because it is easy to use, light to operate, feel dependable, the batteries stay charged after an hour used on one battery, the other never have to use and so far, we are incredibly happy.
It’s great!! So glad I purchased this model. I’ll turn 80 next year and I wanted a light easier to use mower. Wow. This is perfect. Lots of power. Does a great job!!!
Awesome mower. Great power. I can mow my 1/2 acre lot, house on the lot, and still had 3 bars left on the second battery. The ONLY thing I don’t like is when the battery switched over, it lost a bit of power prior. After that, it went like a bat out of hell. Takes a bit to figure out the self propel but otherwise, AWESOME.
I bought this mower a couple of months ago. It cut the new sod to three inches from about 4-5 inches. the lawn is now cut to 2.5 inches for the winter.
Good quality but can't cut tall grasses on a natural meadow

I bought the Greenworks Pro 60V 25" self-propelled mower after using a Kobalt 80V Max 21" mower for several years. My Kobalt isn't self-propelled and I have 2 acres of natural meadow in rural Arizona with native bunchgrasses so it's quite a chore to mow. I paid the extra money for the wider cut and the self-propelled Greenworks, but I'm sorry to say the new mower is pretty ineffective on tall grasses. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: The Greenworks Pro 60V comes with two 4-AMP-hr batteries! My Kobalt came with one 2-AMP-hr battery. So this extra juice is significant. It comes almost fully assembled, including the blades. Only the mower handle needs to be assembled. Easy to follow instructions. Solidly built. Propel speed levers easy to use and adjust. Quiet. Cons: To get the wider cut (25") the mower has two small side-by-side blades instead of one big blade. This may work fine for traditional lawns but it does not cut tall grasses in natural meadows. I'm not sure why. Perhaps some engineer out there can explain it. No matter how many times I run back and forth over a tall clump of bunchgrass, the Greenworks mower leaves behind about 20% of the tall stems. My original Kobalt 80V Max with one 21" blade cuts tall grasses much more efficiently. One pass forward and one pass backward usually gets 95% of the grass stems. The Greenworks is less powerful than the Kobalt, even on the power boost setting, so if you have really thick grass, it might not be strong enough. The inability of this Greenworks machine to meet my needs is largely the cause of my 3 star review. But my use case is pretty unusual. If you have a traditional lawn or a natural meadow with short grasses less than 18" tall, this machine will probably do fine.
