Excellent mower with enough power for what you need, batteries last an hour for me, it’s enough to do half acre at once i had the 16 inch one, upgraded to this one, came with spare set of blades and was very easy to assemble. I’ve got all yard tools greenworks. You can’t go wrong with them

Great idea with fair performance

I have predominately Bermuda. This machine has a hard time getting through this type of turf without constant stalling. It seems the grass builds up while munching and seems to get stuck under the machine until it stalls, then all the grass falls out. This does not seem normal to me.

We're sorry to hear about this. A sharp blade will greatly enhance the performance of the mower. Not only does a sharp blade provide a cleaner cut but it also helps clippings to discharge appropriately. Be sure to check the blades and to sharpen them or replace them at least once per year. In addition, mow only when the grass is dry.
As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade, clump up and will not appropriately discharge. Be sure to clean the deck underneath of your mower as well, any build-up of debris could affect the performance of the unit and prevent proper power. Do not spray water under the deck of the mower.
For caked-on grass, use a scraper to get rid of the grass and then you can use a damp cloth to wipe off and loose pieces. Finish by wiping with a dry cloth and if you have a steel mower deck, spraying lightly with a silicone spray or lawn mower deck spray.
Here are a few other tips as well to achieve the best cut:
1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings.
2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months.
3) Alternate mowing patterns each time you mow. As grass develops a grain based on your cutting direction it will lean towards the direction of your mowing path. Changing the pattern allows better vertical growth and helps to keep the cut neater.
4) For best results keep the grass under 4" in length and walk at a slow but steady pace to allow the blades to cut efficiently.

The mower cuts pretty well, even at full speed. The wide deck makes mowing faster. I can finish my lawn (which is about 0.4 acres) while mulching in about 45 minutes using the capacity of about one 4.0Ah battery. It's relatively quiet and easy to control/handle. My only minor complaint is the amount of suction. Even with the high lift blades installed, it doesn't reliable suck up the grass that is lying on it's side so that it gets cut. It would be nice if there were some "ultra" high lift blades available.

Good mower with some issues

Mower works great, love the turbo setting and the width. Only issues I’ve had so far is when trying to reverse after releasing the assistant Drive lever the back wheels lock and I have to manually push it forward to push it back. Also when it switches from one battery to the other the motor kind of freaks out and goes really fast for a couple seconds.
