Self Propelled Mower

So far, so good. I used it for two cuttings. I love the quietness of the mower. I’m so glad I went for the self propelled mower. It’s just what I needed at 71 and hopefully it will keep me cutting my own lawn for a few more years. The feature that allows you to store it standing up is great.

Whoa! LOVE IT!!!

My GREENWORKS ZTR was delivered today. The ONLY complaint was getting it off the packing frame. That was a horrible experience that resulted in unnecessary damage. That part needs to be re-evaluated!
After that, it did everything I needed and then some. The yard that used to take four hours to push was totally done in 20 minutes. Holy crap! The power and speed is phenomenal. And, it is extremely quiet in comparison to all the neighbors' mowers. ;)
I also love the idea that I can haul stuff around the yard, throw a snow blade on it, and light up what I'm mowing when it should be too dark to mow. Oh, and the fact that I'll never have to carry a can of gasoline in a vehicle again (or, even have to make a run to the convenience store for gas, mid-mow) is fantastic as well. Definitely a happy camper here! Buy it. You won't regret it!

Happy with this purchase. Good mulching power, goes to heavy grass easily. As much power as my 5 hp gas mower had. Definitely like the electric power tools from Greenworks.

2nd mowing and really loving it! Cuts real smooth and 1 5ah battery will do my whole 1/2 lot with hills using self propelled feature! Not missing gas\oil at all!

First Time Electric Powered Mower

I was a bit apprehensive in purchasing a electric mower. I chose Greenworks based on reviews. I have moved my lawn twice, about 5,000 square feet. I really like that the mower is multispeed based on the load. When I get into thick grass, it automatically ramps up to the heavier load. I purchased the weed eater and blower with the same voltage. I can mow, trim, and clean up on one charge. So far, I'm very pleased with the capacity and ability to mow without getting gas.

Nice machine, but comes up short in a couple ways

Motor only draws from one battery, and when depleted requires you to remove it before it will draw on the other one. The mower is heavy, and difficult to maneuver in corners and other tight places. But generally, all the benefits of my non-self-propelled model.
