[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower makes mowing so easy it is fun. Just walk behind and steer. Super powerful. Cuts tall grass easily and mulches it. Great buy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bundle is such a great deal. The mower, weedeater, and blower all work great. They last plenty of time to make my lawn look great!
I've had this mower for a year and a half and although I've like it when it was operating, the self propelled mechanism no longer works and I can't find any place that provides service. The battery charger quit after this same period of time and I had to buy a new one. I can't believe a company like this thinks it is acceptable to provide no service for the residential customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small yard so 25" is probably overkill, little hard to manuver in tight spaces. self propel is great, cuts grass well, light. didnt even use the whole battery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower in June 2023 from Greenworks and one battery is already dead (won't charge). I have used the mower for a little over an hour a week during the mowing season on my yard. Each battery has been used a maximum of about 40 minutes a week. I just want to warn people that the batteries aren't going to last long, although I expected them to last more than a year. With that said I like the mower. It cuts well and is very quiet. The only thing (other than the battery failing) that I don't particularly like is backing up. It takes a few seconds to disengage the drive to be able to back up. That's a nuisance. I do like the larger deck size (25 in). I thought about someday buying a Greenworks electric riding mower, but I probably won't now because those batteries are super expensive to have to replace if they only last a year.
Pros: Convenient, Quiet, Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Redigiant.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the run time you are getting. We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the run time and battery life, users can expect up to 80 minutes with both included 4.0 Ah batteries. As you mentioned, each battery has been used a maximum of about 40 minutes a week. This run time would be considered average. The self-propelled feature is not usable in reverse. They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. We hope this helps. Greenworks takes as much pride in our battery and charger. The 60V platform batteries have been tested over 1000 charges. While we only work with the highest quality products, nothing is always perfect but not to worry, Greenworks lithium-ion batteries are offered with a 4 year (homeowner) limited warranty. Please contact Greenworks Customer Care for a proper evaluation and replacement. We would like to get in touch to ensure that your battery is operating up to our performance standards, please reach out to our Customer Support Live Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call 1-888-909-6757. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution. Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline 1-855-345-3934. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower to replace a 12 yo competitor’s electric mower. The Greenworks mower is easy to assemble and operate. The deck is metal and sturdy. The handles are easy to adjust for height and fold up for storage. This mower is wider at 25” and heavier, so it takes less time to mow and requires a bit more muscle when not using the self-propelled feature. The self-propelled feature is effective and easy to initiate. The mower comes with two 4.0 ah batteries and I can mow my lawn with just one battery. My lawn is a little over 10k SF minus the house and driveway. I can complete the mowing in about 1 hour. The batteries charge quickly once fully charged the first time. My only complaint is that the mower is a little awkward to turn, but not a dealbreaker. Maintenance is easy, like my previous electric mower. I particularly like that this mower has a safety key. I purchased my previous electric mower so that my young teen son could help with the mowing and I would feel comfortable allowing a teen to use this one also.
