This is the 5th greenworks tool that I have. I was wondering if the batteries were going to make it without changing on our 1/4 plus acre lot. I had 3/4 of the small battery left. I love having a self propelled mower now.

Quieter, but still let’s you know it’s cutting grass. Capable, and fun to use. I see no performance difference from a traditional mower. The battery life seemed to perform as advertised. I also purchased a Greenworks string trimmer and a blower that have similar results. I love that I can swap batteries in all three tools. I plan on purchasing a Greenworks pole saw as well.

I’ve got three cuttings under my belt. The mower does everything I expected and the auto switch over on the battery is a great feature. I am slightly disappointed than I’m not getting 90mins out of the 2 batteries as advertised. My first use is early spring, after fertilization, so I hope as the summer goes along it’ll get better. I am currently looking into either a 5 ah or another 4ah, which should get the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best lawnmower I've owned so far. This lawnmower is battery operated which takes away that dilemma of guessing which one of my gas tanks has the right gas in it, if any. It was easy to start, easy to maneuver, had lots of power, yet was quieter then I expectnd it did a great job at giving my grass a clean cut. I dont think I will ever use another mower after this!

Great choice for my large lawn

I have a lot of grass to mow. I have a large lawn surrounding gardens and 2 acres of Christmas Trees. For many years I’ve used a large 33” commercial mower for the lawns (and a high wheel mower in the trees) and struggled with the 33” matching, especially on sloped ground. I did a lot of research before deciding on the Greenworks 25” and having just put it to work for 45 minutes today, I can’t be happier.
The Greenworks produces a cleaner more even cut, is easier to maneuver and quieter.
It is true, as some other reviewers have noted, that when you disengage the drive wheels, it takes a moment for the wheels to actually roll free (and enable easy reverse pulling) but this isn’t a major issue and with some use becomes easy to adjust to.
The multiple height adjustment is a great feature, especially when the grass is a bit higher than normal.

Received my 25 inch mower and so far, after using it about 4 times, I like it a lot. 4 instead of 5 stars because there is no side discharge option. Otherwise it does what it says it will. Time will tell on durability and service.

Setup was very easy. Unbox, attach parts, charge batteries and go to work. Slight learning curve to learn timing of drive stopping and the like. Done sooner because of wider stance.

Just bought this mower because it is self-propelled. Previously own Greenworks cordless mower and love it as well. Like the quietness of battery operated lawn equipment. Like that Greenworks has interchangeable products using the same voltage batteries.
