[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this mower. I wanted to get some exercise while mowing, but not to exert myself too much in my late sixties and beyond. This helps with that and capturing clippings for garden at same time. Charging is fast at less than 1.5 hrs. I am using the second set of blades provided, for more lift of grass in thicker grass, and they work well even though they drain batteries a little more. Mowing steep slopes is made easier with self-propelled feature, mowing cross slope with great caution and steel-toed boots.
Only downside is the height of the battery covers is inch or more higher than rest of machine, making it impossible to get mower underneath some things that could have been cleared by rest of mower.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful, cuts grass well, and is easy to control. The 25” wide mower makes quick work of the yard and folds up to store easily. More than enough battery life to cut 1/3 of an acre.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently moved to Wisconsin, and after almost 20 years of not having to mow a lawn, I had to buy a new lawnmower. I wanted something simple, and that didn't require gas. This Greenworks mower fit the bill. With the two batteries, I'm able to mow my .25 acre with several bars of battery to spare. The self-propelled wheels are a great feature to help you push the mower along, but it's also lightweight enough to do yourself. And - it's quiet! Would recommend to other homeowners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchsed this model in 2020 for it's cutting swath/width. Absolutely zero problems and zero complaints! In fact I purchased the blower the edger the string trimmer and the hedge trimmer. All have worked flawlessly every single time you go to use them. Maintenance is minimal. We've purchased one extra 4.0 ah battery as the usage time decreased only slightly. All still going strong! One of the best investments ever made ! Ten stars! We periodically replace mower blade sets and edger blades but that is all. Living in Florida we use them alot and truly enjoy the low noise and evem cutting.grass at dusk as the headlamp is bright enough. All of our gas powered equipment never gets used anymore. And who wants to bother with gas anyway. If it doesn't start by the third pull it's worthless to me. I will buy greenworks and recommend as long as they keep the quality and performance !
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

It broke when I ran over a stick, something all the other lawnmowers in my life 10+ would have sneered at.

Hello Reggie3. We are sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it can be when a mower is damaged during normal yard use. While sticks and debris are common in many lawns, contact with harder or thicker objects can sometimes impact components such as the blade, blade adapter, or motor shaft, depending on the angle and force of impact. We see that you have already been in contact with the Greenworks team and that your unit is being sent in for repair, which will allow a full inspection of the affected components and help determine the best path forward. In the meantime, it may be helpful for future use to clear larger debris from the mowing area beforehand and periodically check that the blade is properly secured and free from damage, as this can help reduce the risk of similar issues. We appreciate you sharing your feedback, as it helps highlight areas where both product durability and user experience can continue to improve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I little late. I bought the mower a couple of years ago. I LOVE IT. I will probably never go back to a gas-powered mower. I was amazed at the life of the battery and the coverage. The performance is wonderful. It mows thick and tall grass with ease.
I absolutely love this mower. I previously had a 40v, 20" mower and it took 2x 4amh batteries to mow my small yard. This one does the entire yard on only 1x 4amh battery and only uses 3/4 of a charge to do the job. I like that I don't have to use the self-propel feature unless I need/want to to conserve battery power. Many other brands require using the self-propel at all times (if equipped). The only drawback to this mower is the front wheels don't turn left-right relying on the tip and pivot method which is a bit tedious given this mower's weight.
Pros: Durable, Effective, Powerful
