I bought this mower a couple weeks ago and have used it twice and I can say that it lacks power of a gas mower hands down. The side discharge is almost non existent after removing the mulching attachment and putting the side discharge chute on it leaves clumps of grass instead of discharging from the side because there is not enough power (with full battery charge) to blow the grass out from the mower. Same thing when using the bag it cant throw the grass into the bag not enough powedr. the blade seem to run slowly and i have to go back over spots of grass several times. It will eventually get the job done however, the mower IS TERRIBLY UNDER POWERED point blank.
Pros: Convenient
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgraded from a gas push mower that was over 20 years old. After constant maintenance, dealing with gas and frustrating hard starts I finally gave in and went electric. The Greenworks mower is so much easier to use. It starts at the push of a button, is much lighter and easier to maneuver and it stores upright to save space. The battery doesn't quite last the 45 minutes or so that was claimed but it does charge quickly so that does make up for it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Handles too high!

I got this to replace a Neuton battery mower I had loved because I can't find them online anymore. I am 5'5" and the handles on this mower go up to my sternum. This means my arms are raised up to shoulder level and it is very uncomfortable and exhausting to push. I don't see any way to lower these handles to a good height for me. I would not have bought this mower if I had known.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. Only for handles listed as EZ-fold. The EZ-Fold handles have two positions.
When the user unfolds the handles from the folded position, there is one more additional slot that will allow the users to adjust to a lower setting. The mower handle adjusts up to 5.5” difference from the ground from the high setting to the low.
How to Fold the EZ fold handles:
1. Pull up on the handle holes to release the lower handle .
2. Fold the lower handle up unit the handle pins lock into position.
NOTE: Make sure the two handle pins are in the same position.

I love that the mower folds up and, while the steel deck makes it slightly heavier than other electric mowers with plastic decks, I'm willing to make that tradeoff for more durability. Overall a great mower.
