Not a 21 inch mower.

This is not a 21" mower, its a 20" mower. The blades are 20 inches long.
As with all cordless devices, the batteries are the Achilles heel here, providing only limited cutting time.

The 21-inch measurement refers to the mower deck size, while the actual blade length is typically slightly shorter to allow proper clearance between the blade tip and the inside edge of the deck. This clearance is needed so the blade can rotate safely and freely during operation. Battery runtime can also vary depending on mowing conditions, including grass height and thickness, moisture, terrain, cutting height, and use of features such as self-propel. For best performance, we recommend mowing dry grass, avoiding cutting more than one-third of the grass height at a time, and fully charging the battery before use. Love this mower. Love that it’s quieter than my old power mower. Love that I just push a button to start it. Love that it cuts as well if not better. Love that it’s adjustable to a high cut. Love that it stores compactly and love that it cuts my entire lawn on one charge. It’s the most I ever spent on a push mower but I’m not sorry I did.

I purchased this mower because my gas mower died. I use this mower to mow where my riding mower can’t get to. I was pleasantly surprised that it mowed through tall grass that my gas mower struggled with. I purchased the 60 volt mower because I have other products from Green Works that use the same battery. The only issue I have is the push handle is a little high fore and isn’t adjustable. I recommend this mower.

Defective battery

To help troubleshoot, we recommend first ensuring the battery is fully seated in the charger and that the charger is plugged into a working outlet. Check the charger indicator lights for any flashing patterns, as these can signal temperature-related delays or charging issues. If the battery was stored in a very cold or hot environment, allow it to return to room temperature before attempting to charge again. It can also help to remove and reinsert the battery a few times to ensure proper contact. If the battery still does not respond on the charger after these steps, it may indicate an issue within the battery pack itself, and we recommend reaching out to Greenworks success for assistance. Electric vs Gas

I love the battery powered vs Gas. 1 because you dont have to by gas or oil. 2 there not as loud. I love that I don't have to go purchase fuel especially since the price of fuel is going up.
