Absolutely an excellent purchase. I have just under a 1/2 acre, grass was high and wet but it was not an issue for my first cut. I was able to cut the whole lawn utilizing only one battery. My second cut was under dry conditions and when completed I had plenty of battery remaining to use in blower.

Great Mower, POOR Battery

When I first purchased this mower a few months ago, I could cut my entire yard on one full charge. The battery would have almost 40 min worth of runtime and now I can not even finish my front yard on a full charge...it will last maybe 15 minutes! The mower cuts very well, when it’s running. This battery is just HORRIBLE & a replacement battery is more than half the cost of the original purchase price of my mower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this battery. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. If the battery has been stored with little to no charge for a long period of time, the battery will go into recovery mode, which will take 24 hrs. to recharge. This helps enhance the life of the battery. Once it is fully charged, the next charge will return to standard charging. Please know that our batteries are covered by a manufactures warranty from the date of purchase. The convenience of placing two batteries in the unit and the battery life indicators are top notch. The design of the mower feels sturdier and the handle adjuster is a big improvement over our 4 year old previous model. Our lot is approximately 1 acre and two 5 Ah batteries are more than enough to take care of our needs. The new design of the battery charger is a big improvement and charges the longer life, 5 Ah, batteries much faster than the previous battery charger.

This is an excellent mower. It cuts well and runs for an hour plus.
It is easy and convenient to use - no mixing & pouring of fuel. It is relatively quiet - not as noisy as a vacuum cleaner. And no gas fumes!!!
The only negative is that it doesn’t cut as close to an edge as prior mower.
Great choice especially if you have solar power!
