Originally, I wasn't 100% sure about my purchase of this mower or electric mowers in general, but it's been awesome so far. I've got a little over 0.2 acres and I'm pretty sure one battery charge will cut the whole thing as long as I keep it decently maintained. The mower itself seems to be well built and shipping was super fast. It isn't peak grass cutting season yet for Georgia, so we'll see how it really does in a few weeks, but I'm not too worried.
The only con I can think of about the mower so far is that the "plug" in the back for using the mulching function is a little too loose. After mowing, there's usually quite a bit of grass accumulated/stuck around the plug itself - more annoying than a problem though.
I'll definitely be looking into purchasing other Greenworks 60V tools!

So easy to take out of box, charge and start using. As an older first time mowing lawn and with almost half acre to tackle, I was delighted at how well the self propelled feature worked. Looking forward to years of use.

Gas Guy Goes Green

I have always had a gas mower and tools, I first switched to the GW 60v blower then got the chainsaw for small projects and even the trimmer when my gas one died. This season I was going to replace my mower, my last gas tool, and really shopped around and when I bought this one. I even told myself I will just return it if it doesn't perform. I am happy to say 3 months in and cutting every week, I am pleased with the mower. My .33 acre yard can be cut with just the 5.0h battery however having the backup battery from my other tool is nice to have as sometimes I forget to fully charge my 5.0 battery. The positives: Its quite compared to gas, the wife loves it and it make you realize how loud the neighbors gas tools are. The bagging option works really well even with wet or heavy grass. The negatives: The self propel takes a second to engage, then when you use it and let off it you need to rock the mower to get the back wheels to release as they are locked to only go forward so you can't pull back. This just takes a few cuts to get used to it then its fine.
Overall this is a great tool with plenty of power and lives up to the claims on the GW website! I rarely give a product 5 stars but this product lives up to the hype.

I’ve been mowing for 50 years with a gas mower and was skeptical about buying this but boy was I wrong. Cuts great and I only use half of the battery. Well built and I love it. Cuts my southern Bermuda with ease.

Great Mower for Small Yard

I researched many brands and models before selecting this mower. I have less than a .2 acre lot that is mostly flat with midwest grass. I do have lots of leaves to mulch/bag in the fall, which I have not yet encountered. Overall this mower has been awesome so far. It is very quiet and lightweight. The 4.0ah battery still shows 50%-75% full when I finish mowing. It seems to cut evenly and has a sturdy easy to use design.
