Great Mower

I finally had the chance to use my Greenworks Tools Pro 60V Trimmer and Mower this weekend. I couldn’t be more happy with these products from beginning to end. They each arrived fast and well packaged to my home and were both super easy to assemble. It is basically plug and play with these tools and took all of 20 minutes from unpack to fully assembled ready to go (minus the battery charging which took around 30 minutes per battery). I was surprisingly happy with how quiet these were, with the ability to still hear my headphones without blasting it in my ear. In addition, the strength is just as good as any gas mower / trimmer I have used in the past, cutting through runners with one pass. And the battery life has not been an issue, although I would suggest that if you have a larger lawn, to go with at minimum a 2.5A battery. The 5A has not stopped once. One of the great things about these is no pull cord on either machine and super quick and easy to start and stop by just using the triggers. This is so much nicer than dealing with choke options and cords on the gas powered units. I would highly recommend these to anybody with a lawn looking for a new mower or trimmer and I would not think twice about this decision again.

By-George, I think they’ve done it!
The 60v self-propelled mower by Greenworks is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I can honestly say, I was super excited to get the mower home, unpack it, attach the handle (two bolts) and instantly begin mowing.. but only after admiring the engineering of the thing of course. I love the bright green as well as the black accents. The ins-and-outs of it’s mechanics are very simple, they’ve really done a nice job with the ease of going from one setting to another, I.E. the different transformations like side shoot, mulching, bagging, all very capable and easily switched when needed. No fancy levers, or time-consuming effort. It’s quick and efficient. The deck-level adjustment handle is simply ingenious. It takes less effort to raise and lower the deck than it does to tie your shoe. It’s really well done.
Once you get going, you’re amazed at what speed the mower can achieve. I’m very tall wit a long stride, and surprisingly, it moved at quite-the-clip! Impressive speed! Other mowers I’ve owned were just a tad toooo slow. This was a pleasant surprise! It’s the speed is very variable. You have to get used to letting off the right lever while keeping the blades spinning, it only takes a little time and your golden.
Hill Climb: I tested it by running the self-propelled action up my ditch, which is a rather steep grade. It passed easily pulling me along with it. Very impressive!
The mower’s drive propulsion does have sound, it sounds like an electric car sounds, a slight ‘whiiiiir’ as it propels forward. Once you push the lock-out button and pull the blade engagement lever, the blade spins into action. It’s effortless! I’m lucky enough to have a number of batteries on charge, so once one runs low, just slap in another! I mow certain areas of my acre property with it, up hills, in between utility boxes, it does great!
When you’re done, the mower folds and stands on end! Thank you to the engineering guys/gals who thought this up. It tucks in nicely in front of my riding mower, getting out of the way unlike my old dinosaur Honda Push Mower who always seems to be in the way!
Pros: The adjustment handle is ingenious. Sturdy feeling It looks a little small - but this is good. It doesn’t have to support r house an enormous gas engine. FAST and Quiet! Love the looks. Fold up and store design is awesome! Gets great results after mowing NO FUMES on my clothing!
Cons: Not many, but I was surprised to see only one blade. It gets the job done though! The bag material feels a little thin
Just be ready, every neighbor will approach you and want to try it! :)

I purchased this about a month ago, and has already paid for it self. I was paying for someone to mow my lawn. I am an older female, and had a hard time starting a gas powered mower, pushing it, plus putting in gas, oil etc. It easily folds up and stores it in my garage. Having the throttle control and rear wheel drive make's it a joy to mow. Best purchase I have ever made!! Now just need some nicer grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this mower a few days ago because it has a grass catcher and requires no Gas or Oil. The mower exceeded my expectations with mulching and bagging my leaves. The more requires a little assembly nothing major. The self propelled works great to be battery powered. This mower almost had me running on rabbit speed. This mower is extremely well built. And it is easy to store and takes up very little room. And what I really like about it is that it has headlights on it. I can mow at night or early morning without it making a lot of noise. I really love the one handle height adjustment for all 4 wheels. Thanks Greenworks for a Great Product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I’m not displeased with this product. There are definitely pros and cons.
Pros are that it folds nicely, it’s durable, the auto feature works great for straight lines, and it cuts the grass well.
Cons are that it’s bulky and tough to push around corners, and the battery was down to one bar after being fully charged at first and using it for only 20 minutes. If you have a large yard, definitely get two batteries.
I would recommend it, but do your research first. I’m glad I won’t have to buy gas for this thing though. That’s a definite plus!

Hello CatMc99 f641c8 Thank you for sharing your experience. Like any cordless mower currently on the market, you want to keep your grass level reasonable. When it comes to runtime, it will depend on the height and density of the grass. You can mow up to an hour with a fully charged 4.0-amp hour battery. Please note, the battery is not shipped fully charged. It is recommended to fully charge before first use to ensure that maximum run time can be achieved. This lithium-ion battery will not develop a memory and may be charged at any time. A fully discharged battery pack will take the allotted time as stated in the specifications portion of the manual. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the runtime you are achieving, please contact us directly at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com to speak to a Greenworks product expert.

Great mowing experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GreenWorks 60v electric lawnmower delivers on everything it advertises to do. The lawnmower is quieter than a normal gas run mower (by a lot), it is able to be stored vertically, the height adjustment lever is the easiest to use, it has a great LED light if you ever need to cut your grass at night and its self-propelled readiness is an awesome feature. With that being said, using the self-propelled feature will eat into your battery life during mowing I would say almost by 25%, bringing your runtime from 60 minutes to about 45 minutes. This was not an issue for us as we have a pretty average front and backyard, but if you are looking to mow anything that takes you longer than an hour I would opt for purchasing a second battery. As stated above, the noise reduction is extremely noticeable and a great plus if you like to mow your lawn early in the morning or late at night now that you have a perfectly bright headlight (pictured). Aesthetically, this mower gives you a “high-end” feel. From its weight, the rugged wheels and the very comfortable handles it gives you a modern experience with ease of use.

Excellent job on rough terrain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very eager to use this lawn mower! The box was nicely packaged and it required very little assembling(need a Phillips screw driver to attach the top handle). There isn’t much grass at this time of year but we did have random patches of dry grass that needed clearing. It did an excellent job on the rough terrain. It is very easy to power on and very easy to maneuver. Love the self propelling and turbo option. Both my husband and I used it and we highly recommend it. I was a little surprised with the sound made by the battery charger. It’s not super loud but it’s definitely not quiet. I did charge the battery for several hours (overnight).
