I just purchased a new home, and by the time the builder laid seed and straw, I had a field of crabgrass that was 8" tall. I couldn't mow until the seed got root. By that time I had crabgrass, weeds, the thick unruly type that loves to thrive in fields. Being a female, I was not interested in oil or spark plug changes as well as handling a gas container. So I researched for weeks and bought this, along with your pro 60v string trimmer. Anyway the mower plowed through those thick weeks that were 2 ft tall, and crabgrass that was now up to my knees, without a single hesitation from the mower. Kudos for this amazing product. I will be investing in a Greenworks snowblower next.
Thank you for an amazing product.

Switched from gas to eletric and never looked back. Sold my old gas mower to help pay for the new eletric one. Thought it was time I did something for mother earth.

Works well for our yard

I bought this mower a few weeks ago and have used it 4 or 5 times so far. We have a small lawn, but with a fairly significant hill, which is why I chose the self-propelled model. It moves it up the hill with no problem, sometimes a little too quickly and I have to drop the speed a bit. The battery life is great for our yard. It only uses about half the battery. The grass catcher is a bit small. I usually have to empty it twice and it seems like for the size of our lawn I would only need to empty it once. I love how it folds and sits upright for storing in the garage. The quick folding handle was one of the selling points for me. If feels very well made, doesn't feel like it's going to break anytime soon. And I like how it looks like a gas mower. The self-propelled levers take some getting used to. It's not exactly like using a self-propelled gas mower with the bar you squeeze. This one has a lever on each side of the handle that you squeeze and you only have to squeeze one.

Solid but needs the extra battery

Picked this up as I don't want to deal with gas anymore. I have a slight hill in my backyard and a decent hill in the front, but the property is under .3 acre with a decent sized house and/patio/3 car garage so not a lot of grass. I have to use 2 batteries to get though the cut as well as not using the self propel feature a lot of the time. Cutting/mulch is great, but I bought the self propel so I don't have to push, but if I use that I will drain the battery just cutting the back.

Love going electric!

My neighbors are thrilled with the quiet operation and I like not wearing earplugs. My yard takes about 2 hours so I can get about half done on a charge of the 5 amp battery. Bought a 2 amp extra but leave it out of the second port so I can charge the other when it goes dead. The 2 amp is hardly worth buying but it was the only one available at the time. The cutting swath doesn't reach the tire path so you end up with about 18 inch swath. In hindsight I should have went with the 25". I love not pulling that darn cord and smelling gas. Highly recommend this all things considered.

Never have to change oil, fill with gas, or struggling with pulling a cord to start. These electric mowers are the present and future, and the purchase couldn't have happen any sooner! Exactly what I was looking for.
