A mower that’s up for the job!

After $400+ in repairs on my $400 self-propelled Toro that I bought new in 2015, I decided it was time to rethink the way I mowed. The most recent $120 repair, plus mower rental to complete the yard was barely a month early. There I was, Labor Day weekend, the Toro was dead again. Yes, I was overdue for a mow, but I spent the next week researching cordless mowers. We had two rains on top of my already out of control lawn when I finally decided we had a winner: Greenworks! The lawn was thick, a little damp in places, but I went for it. I was so impressed I could hardly stand it! The mower handled it! The battery did stop when I was well over half way through. I put it on the charger and finished some other chores. I put the battery back in w/ only 2 of 4 bars charged and completed the yard (w/ 1 bar to spare). I was seriously concerned the municipality was going to ticket me because the yard was too tall when I started. I am 100% delighted w/ the way “Grendel” performs (I’ve named the mower after the creature feared by all but Beowulf). Greenworks rocks!

I put this mower together directly out of the box So easy to do. I popped the battery in and pushed the start and away we went. So quiet and smooth to use. I mowed mostly the weeds in the lawn because all the grass is on vacation until the rains come to the Pacific Northwest. Along with my electric car I am now a gas free household. No more loud noise and pollutants put into the atmosphere.

I had the opportunity to cut (same lawn) with both EGO and Greenworks (both SP) comparable mowers........both are easy to use....however I like the rabbit speed control, the dual handles to engage the SP function, and also the dual battery capacity. Both are good - - Greenworks Pro SP is better.

Solid build quality. Expected to last year. I feel its better deal compared to Ego. More power. Battery lasts about 1 hour. Easy to assemble. I really like the self propelled feature because i have slope on my yard. Definitely recommended.

What was I doing messing around with gas powered lawn mowers for all these years. This 60V mower is exactly all I needed. Even when I get done mowing the lawn, the battery still has 50% battery left. Brushless motor surges power automatically when I run over thick patches of weeds and grass. Buy this mower -it is awesome.

The lawnmower offers exactly what l was looking for. No more worries over gasoline or it being to heavy to push. The self-propelling element makes cutting effortless. The 60v is perfect! I can cut my entire yard on 1 battery and 1 charge. It folds and stores upright which is WONDERFUL. The best part is I get to go GREEN! You guys made a great lawnmower!
