Read a lot of reviews on cordless mowers and this one was consistently rated high and better priced than lower rated competitive models. So far it has lived up to my expectations.

WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!!!

I purchased this piece of crap less than 6 months ago. It doesn’t cut evenly; takes twice as long to mow the grass because you have to go back and recut because it doesn’t cut worth a flip. The battery life sucks. Doesn’t even hold a charge for a 1/2 hour. WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this mower, I am a new homeowner previously had greenworks corded which still running great but I got annoyed with the extension cord which I once ran over and broke, this motivated me to go green and I am super impressed. This is first ever self propelled unit and it makes mowing a breeze! Where i used to mow 1 every 2-3 weeks now mowing is just fun and like a simple workout where i use high speed self propelled and i power walk with the mower to be done with what used to take forever in just a few minutes. Very nice design and features i am so happy went with greenworks such a solid purchase!

My wife and I purchased the greenworks, 60V self-propelled, 21" lawn mower a few months ago to replace an aging gas mower. WOW! What a joy and delight to use this mower! What assembly was required was VERY minimal, easy and fast to accomplished. This lawn mower is a joy to use because you don't have to check the oil level or fill it up with gas just make sure the battery is charged up and installed and you are ready to go! Plus you don't have to be concerned with the spark plug being in good shape or an air cleaner being cleaned or replaced. It is a delight to use because it is VERY easy to start! Just hold down the lever that turns on the power to the lawn mower and then push the start switch button and then start pushing! On the gas mower we HAD, I would have to prime the mower with gas and then it took anywhere from 3 to 5 pulls of the cord to get the mower started. The mower is VERY quite. I was talking with one of my neighbors and they mentioned they want to get an electric lawn mower now because our mower was so quiet! One other thing I noticed was it cuts the grass so evenly! I can't remember ever in my life time (50+ years) of seeing grass that looks so evenly cut! Could be the blades I used over the years where not sharp as they could have been. We don't have that big of a yard ( <.25 acres) but to get the lawn mower out of storage, put the battery in it, attached the grass catcher, start the lawn mower, cut the grass, remove the grass catcher, empty the grass catcher, remove the battery, put the battery in the charger, and stow the lawn mower away until the next time take me about 15-20 minutes! There are four other really nice features the lawn mower has that I have not mention here but you can go online to discovers those. I highly recommend this lawn mower to anyone who does not have a big yard to mow(> half an acre), does not want to spend a lot of time and effort to get the mower started, or worry about having enough gas or oil on hand for the mower.

This lawnmower is such an incredible improvement over gas or plugin mowers! Its quietness, exceptional cutting capabilities, ease of operation, run time, and multiple features make this one of the best purchases I have made this year. The world of lawn care has been made so much more efficient, non-polluting and enjoyable with mower. I can only give it the highest rating and recommendation. And no, I’m not related, employed by or affiliated with Greenworks in any way; just a completely satisfied customer.

I had some issues with shipping. I was initially shipped a damaged unit. But the customer service was very responsive and sent me a replacement. Haven't had any issues so far.

Dream Machine

I could not be happier with my new battery powered self-propelled lawn mower. I only wish I would have purchased it years ago. The thought of no more messing around with gasoline, oil, spark plugs, etc. makes me extremely happy. Just one touch of the button to get it started is almost like magic. I especially like the ease of lowering or raising the height of the wheels and the blade with just a little pump of the lever. I am only 5'2" and just over 100 pounds and mowing the yard was always somewhat of a hassle, even with a self-propelled lawnmower. Now, it is so easy. And last, but not least, it is so quiet, you will never wake up the neighbors. This machine is a dream.
