Have not been able to use the mower yet due to the climate. I am looking forward to using it due to the fact that the snowblower did everything I neede it to and then some. I am very impressed with your products as they are very user friendly and I do not regret in any way that I bougjht them. They will certainly make my chores around the house so much easier and more fun.

Never Will Be Praying for my Mower to Start Again

I am in love with my new mower! It's nice and quiet, and it starts with just one push of a button!
Also, it uses the same 60V battery that my Greenworks blower uses. So glad I treated myself to it! (Now if I can just get my neighbors to convert!)

Handle attachment and an extra blade
on April 13, 2021

Just received my new mower and put it together, which consists of installing the top part of the handle. My suggestion, if you are going to use a plastic "captive nut" system to hold the nut in place when tightening the bolt, you may not want to use a Nylock nut with the plastic insert. Yes the Nylock nut prevents the bolt from loosening, but the amount of force required to thread the bolt into the plastic insert is more than the plastic "captive nut" area can handle.
Also my mower came with an extra blade and the second blade is not listed under the "what's included" section.

Greenworks is the bomb

My first venture into the world of electric / battery powered garden machinery and I have to say I am impressed. As life long user of a ride on gas mower when we had a big garden I was a little unsure. We now have a smaller grass area approximately 1000sqft. This mower eats it up! I have only charged the battery once, on initial receipt of the mower and have cut the grass 4 times - the battery meter has not moved off full. The blade is sharp and the grass collection box works well. Very happy and a convertee to Greenworks, so much so I went back online and purchased a trimmer!!

Indestructible

I have 2 blades. One has chips in it, I use it to much the thickest stuff. I have another good one for finish mowing. The self propelled is super strong. The turbo option is awesome. Rugged. put a big trash can on top by the back of the battery door, lay it down on the handles...instant powered wheel barrow. Pure insanity. Love the side discharge option for 3 mowing options

Would love to be able to mow my front lawn in one day
on April 9, 2021

I have a moderately-sized yard. I can’t even mow my whole front or back lawn on both batteries. I keep the assist off and at the level 3 setting. The company is giving me the run-around about trying to replace these default batteries.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Alacy,

It is unfortunate to hear that the run time is unsatisfactory. The run time of a lawnmower is dependent on the load acting against the unit and fluctuates depending on the height setting, the terrain, grass height, type of grass, whether you are mulching, using self-propelled function etc. - there are so many factors to consider. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few tips to help you extend the run time.
1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time.
2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass and ensure that grass is dry.
Lastly, when the battery is placed in the charger the charger detects the temperature of the battery and will begin charging once it cools down slightly to charge. This is normal operation based on the protection system in the charger. All is operating as intended. We hope these tips will help you with the issue you have encountered.
We see you have been in touch with our team. We are happy they were able to support you and that we are working towards a resolution.
