Our purchased from big box store. Live in rural area, my lawn is not professionally maintained (lots of unevenness) , I've have several slopes and it is rough terrain. hour and half to two hours to cut with gas push mower. This mower is pretty awesome, It does take two full charges to complete the job. No big deal, I take a break while it charges 30 -45 minutes . Mower cuts well and haven't needed the turbo feature at all. I've several areas wear growth is 4inchs and very thick. my old gas mower would bog down in these areas not this machine. Ill be looking into other greenworks power tools.
A great purchase! Even those I opted to not get the self propelled option, this is super easy to use, and assembly was also super easy! I do recommend getting a second battery, but with two batteries, I can more a quarter of a acre! Highly recommend this mower, great value for the price!
Having to pick up for my husband who has become seriously ill, I couldn’t ha for our gas lawnmower on our hilly property, hate touching or smelling gasoline I decided to look into battery options and selected this mower. Not difficult for me, age 72 to put together? Charged battery snd wax off and running. Took a bit to get used to mower pulling me along, once I adjusted was able to maneuver with ease snd it did a great job.
I bought this a year and a half ago and was very pleased. Then suddenly my self-propelled mower was no longer moving on its own. I called and was given an upgrade. The new mower is super! It's wider (25 inches and moves faster). I am pleased with it but don't care much for the cleaning of this one, but it is a nice mower.
This is powerful little mower. It is not self propelled, so all the power is focused right in the blades. The blades made easy work of overgrowth. The bagging system is simple to use and a perfect size. It's exceptionally quiet. It can hold to batteries which it draws from consecutively. This is a nice feature because it doesn't take two batteries to do my whole yard. So, I can pop out the second battery (less used one ) when I'm done and throw it in my trimmer or edger. Really tough little mower. If you don't need self propelled get this guy .
I bought this as a replacement for a 12 year old electric mower What a difference a 60v makes!
Very easy to put together! I am not very mechanically inclined. Just a few things to click together. Although it isn’t self propelled, it is easy to maneuver. My only complaint is that the mulching feature clogs and doesn’t mulch very well. I switched to the side chute and it works very well.
I have been skeptical of electric mowers since the 70's. Of course those were all ones with cords, but they never had enough power. This mower not only cuts the cord but has lots of torque and runs a long time. My back yard had been neglected being mowed since it has lots of obstacles and the riding lawn mower is a pain to get in an out of the yard. I currently have some Greenworks 60v tools and love them so thought I'd take a shot at this lawn mower. I under estimated what I was getting! 1st the x-range batteries are super long lasting. I did my entire back yard... one hour of mowing and didn't get through half the batteries. Second I like how the mower automatically adjusts to the power needed. In deep grass you can hear the torque being added and the mower doesn't bog down. Third I really like the full options of mulching, side discharge or rear bagging. Basically this lawnmower adjusts easily to whatever you need. The lawnmower is powerful yet very quiet. I'm very pleased and happy I acquired this mower and think it will last for years to come.
