Really enjoying working with this mower. It’s light enough to be easy to maneuver compared to a gas model, and still has plenty of power to do a good job on the grass.

Gone Electric!

First new mower in about 15 years so was a little concerned about making the switch to electric but overall very happy with my purchase. The larger deck has reduced cutting time by about 25% and the mower is light and easy to use. Took a little time to get used to the variable speed but plenty of power with the 4.0 Ah battery. Using the charger and switching between batteries allows me complete lawn without having to take extended breaks. The self propelled model does generate some noise but much quieter than a combustion engine. Glad I made the move to electric.

I wanted a small size mower that was easy to maneuver, easy to store, yet still powerful for a good mow. This mower is perfect. I am happy with the purchase.

I’m a single 72 year old lady who can’t start a gas mower. That frustration led me to a battery mower. Thank goodness I found yours!!! It’s so easy to start, cuts a clean line (and level on my rough Montana lawn), and glides right along so quickly. No problems! I will now save lots of yard care costs and still enjoy a margarita as I mow. Thanks!!!

Plenty Power

My old mower, 6.5 up I used >20 years. And mulch ed leaves every fall. My main concern with the 60v Greenworks mower was will it have enough power to mulch all the leaves. It came with a 5AH battery, and I picked up a 2.5AH just to be sure I could finish. Turns out the Greenworks mower munched the leaves beautifully. Only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars, normally I blow the grass. And the deck output would spread the clippings a little better if it were angled up another 5 or 10 degrees. But that's pretty minor. The mulching is great. Note to Greenworks, save some $$ and make the bag attachment optional. Being a good mukcher , I don't bag at all.

Couldn't be happier!

I've now used both the 80v mower with 4.0AH battery (MO80L410) and this new dual-port 60v mower with 2 x 4.0AH batteries. The first time out on the 80V, it wasn't able to finish the entire lawn on a single charge. The second time out, it barely got it all done, likely a grass length issue, but I was in the market for a second battery so I wouldn't be stuck with a half finished job. While shopping for a new battery, I stumbled upon this mower and figured the dual-part automatic switching was exactly what I needed to ensure I could mow my entire lawn without having to stop in the middle and mess with batteries. My first time out, I was able to complete the entire lawn on a single battery. The second battery was available, and it could have used a little bit, but I can't tell for sure, and when the job was complete I put both batteries on the charger, but the second battery indicated full. I'm extremely happy with the batter performance, and having the option to have the second battery in the mower, ready to switch, is great peace of mind. As an added benefit there's plenty of juice left over to use with other tools, such as trimmer, blower and edger. All of which will be a lot less unwieldy with a 60v battery as opposed to an 80v. I'm very happy with the 60v mower and will be getting more 60v tools for this platform. I have a 1/4 acre lot for reference.
Further comparing the 80v unit to the 60v, this one has the updated handle and control cluster. I can start the mower with one hand, which was nice while I was holding a gate open. The self propelled engagement is quicker and smoother on this 60v unit. Overall the 60V mower was much more pleasant to use, it was smoother, lighter, and a breeze to operate and manipulate. It's just the small things, like raising and lowering the handles, that makes this mower a nicer owner experience over the currently available 80v mower.
The only question I have, is, can the LED lights be turned off? I feel it's an unnecessary drain on the battery to have the lights on in the middle of the day.
