A Near Perfect Battery Powered Mower

This mower is absolutely fantastic. I was a little nervous thinking that it would be too heavy, but once it is on the ground it moves like butter. The adjustable speed is nice, and the handle height adjustment is outstanding. My kids can mow at a comfortable height, and then I can easily adjust it to my height to get the spots they missed. The vertical storage is great to keep the garage floor clear. While the specs say that it can run up to 30 minutes, I have used this time and time again to mow my 1/4 of an acre, plus the grass along my alley wall, and the battery still seems to have juice. Most battery mowers don't cut as low as this does, which makes this great for preparing to overseed. And on top of all of these wonderful features, it there is no gasoline or oil to worry about, and it is quiet. I can easily carry on a conversation while mowing. While the price tag may seem a little steep, considering that there is almost no maintenance and no fluids to purchase, this mower is easily cheaper than a gas powered mower. Plus it will probably last forever. My last Greenworks mower lasted for 4+ years and I never had to replace a battery or anything else on it. I only replaced it because I fell in love with this beast.

This is my second Greenworks mower. I have the 40V 20" and love it, but when I saw the self-propelled feature on this I had to have it. I have about an acre and a third to mow with a good piece of it a field at the bottom of the property..a good hill! Not having to push the mower back up the hill is wonderful. This mower mows well over bumpy grass that was previously not well maintained. it is helping me get this property back in shape. It is powerful and runs for over 45 minutes, quieter than a gas mower and I love not having to deal with gasoline. We now use the 40 Volt mower at the top of the property and this one for the lower part.

When my mower came, I opened the box to find the wires that run through the handle were cut. After calling, I was told a replacement would be sent. When I receive my working mower I will be able to review how I like it.

Best mower I've ever owned!

I have six greenworks products... all are 60 volts and share the same batteries.. the self propelled lawn mower is awesome. One great thing is you can engage the self propelled feature to get you up a steep hill without spinning the blade if you want to. Great if going over tree roots that would hurt the blade. The automatic increase in power when you go through heavy thick grass and then throttling back down is sweet. No gas, no fumes, no filters to clean, no tune ups, no plugs to replace. Safety built in... anti roll back feature if your going up hill prevents it rolling back on you... Light weight, quick easy minor assembly right out of the box. Finishing up my first summer using this mower with not a single
disappointment. Buy it! You won't regret it.

Super easy to use! We bought this for our teenage son to use for his lawnmowing business, and we feel like it safe and simple for him to operate. We haven’t had it for very long so hopefully it will be a five-star experience for us, but it does seem super safe and cuts the lawn well so

Good electric mower

I bought this as a replacement for a 12 year old electric mower What a difference a 60v makes!
Very easy to put together! I am not very mechanically inclined. Just a few things to click together. Although it isn’t self propelled, it is easy to maneuver. My only complaint is that the mulching feature clogs and doesn’t mulch very well. I switched to the side chute and it works very well.
I would definitely buy again!

25 inch dual battery lawn mower

The mower is getting better or I’m adjusting better too. I am using the lawn blades that was attached. The mower cuts very well. The drawback I’m experiencing is the high humidity wet lawns this season. The mower is having a lot of wet grass sticking to the undercarriage. The mower stops as I must manually remove the grass. Once the excess clippings are removed the mower continues to cut evenly. Even cuts are most important. My neighbor bought electric mower from another brand source. It came with a plastic deck. The mower jumps up due to the lighter non steel deck as the Greenworks comes with. You need the extra weight to keep the grass mowed evenly. The neat even cut separates Greenworks from many. When the neighbors ask what I’m doing that they aren’t to get “that cut”, you know it is the steady cutting path. Also the RPM’s is the same as an gasoline engine. Greenworks cuts the grass without chopping it off even before the turbo drive RPM’s ever kick in. Turbo works well when you get into high grass. Sure it uses more battery energy. But with two batteries onboard that switches when needed, you need not worry if the lawn won’t get cut. I tested the batteries as my neighbors thanked me for cutting their lawns. I was able to cut three full city lawns and cut one more almost completely. These are 60 volt batteries, 4 amp. I can only wonder what the newer 80 volt mowers can do. The packaging of the machine was excellent too. First year owner but not last year purchaser. Because of me my one neighbor bought the pressure washer. Another great product.
