Electric vs Gas

I love the battery powered vs Gas. 1 because you dont have to by gas or oil. 2 there not as loud. I love that I don't have to go purchase fuel especially since the price of fuel is going up.

The one thing I was most worried about with my 6,000 sqft yard was the battery running out before finishing the cut. I have mowed about a dozen times so far and have not run out of juice. The grass was the tallest the first time I mowed and almost didn’t finish, but since then I have 1-2 bars left on the battery meter.
This is a push mower, but it is very easy to maneuver through my thick St Augustine grass.
My only wish is that the deck would go one more notch higher. I would prefer a 4” deck height, but 3 5/8” will do.
I am 6’5” y’all so the aboility yo adjust the height of the bar is a very nice feature.

We downsized to a smaller house and a smaller yard. We donated all our gas powered lawn equipment when we moved, planning to use a lawn service going forward. After 6 months of settling in we decided to take over the lawn work, and not wanting to store gas in an attached garage, researched electric lawn equipment.
The Greenworks mower has cut our small yard - ~.30 acre - several times, and it does a excellent job. It is much lighter than a gas powered mower, very quiet, easy to push if you don’t want to use the self propelled feature. There’s no pulling the starter rope stuff to deal with, no messy petroleum products to deal with, and it folds into a small storage foot print.
The Greenworks mower has cut our small yard - ~.30 acre - several times, and it does a excellent job.
