While I have only used it once, it was a tough job and it performed great! I have a 5,000 sq ft yard and it was time to scalp before the growing season begins. I mowed the Bermuda Grass a notch lower than normal to clear the winter remains, also, used the bagging attachment. Everything worked as you would expect. There were a couple times I over loaded the motor and it would stop, but I really don't think this is an equipment issue, it was just really thick, dead grass. I used the Turbo button a few times and that gave it the extra power it needed. The self-propelled function was nice especially when cutting uphill in deep grass when pushing really became hard. My mower came with two batteries. I found 1 almost got the back yard (2500 sq ft) done. I plugged it in and ran off battery #2 while I finished up the back and moved to the front yard. Battery #2 wasn't enough to finish up the front, but battery #1 was done charging by the time I needed it so no delay waiting for the batteries to charge. I think this will be a great mower. Looking forward to the season!
I purchased this mower midway through the last mowing season after doing a lot of research on the competition. I am very happy with the decision I made. Some of the features that prompted me to choose this mower were: turbo button, steel deck, ball bearing wheels and comes with 2 batteries. Some competitors have a single larger battery but 2 batteries are better since with the rapid charger you can mow perpetually. I was coming from a gas H*nda and was concerned that the Greenworks wouldn’t have the bagging performance of my gas mower. With the high lift blade it does quite well. I am not disappointed. It lacks the suction to vacuum the mulch from flower beds into by bag which is a good thing. Also, the bag is the right width for the standard lawn bags. On my prior mower the lawnmower bag was too wide for standard lawn bags making it difficult to unload efficiently. I really like how it folds up to not take up a lot of space. It is also nice not having to change oil, air filter or worry about the gas going bad. I would highly recommend this mower. My only complaint is the pinch point created if you have 1 hand on the grip when you squeeze the green lever with the other hand.
This is my first electric lawn mower, and I'm hooked! So simple, always starts, no smelly gas, and I can listen to music while mowing thanks to no loud engine
So upset this mower doesn't have a side discharge door option....I don't always want to catch the clippings on every mowing....

I am so happy that I replaced my gas mower with this. Easy to assemble. Easy to start and handle. I was very impressed with its mulching. It was the first mow of the year and easily handled the leaves on my grass. I had a problem with the bolts that secure the upper handle but I logged a support incident and replacement parts were sent. I put them on this morning. Perfect!
I'd read all the reviews and it certainly lived up to its praises: powerful, clean cutting and easy handling. I cut my steeply sloped front yard with a whole season of leaves mixed in with the grass. It cut, mulched, and powered itself up the hills with ease, barely using much of its batteries. And with the 25-inch width, I was done in no time. It actually performed better than any gas powered mower I'd ever used, and without all that noise and gas exhaust.
Purchased this model as it had good reviews and was on sale. Have not used yet as my lawn is currently under about 4" of snow. Was dissappointed in the shipping. The top of the box was damaged in 2 places and the bottom appeared to have been retaped. Mover appeared to not have been damaged, but will not know until spring.
I bought the 80 volt 21" push mower and I was so happy with its performance that I bought the self propelled model for my wife. Push start, quiet operation and powerful unit. Trust me you will be happy with these units, no gas and cut a 150' x 75' lawn with one charge!! We enjoy mowing and our neighbors are always wanting to try them. We also bought the 80 volt blower!
