Great lawnmower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this for 3 cutting season. Yard is 2 acres. Purchased it with the 6-8ah batteries. Only once did I run out of power before finishing the yard. My fought, I let the grass get 6” tall and thick. Mower shutdown blades so I had power to get back to garage. My left arm is paralyzed, but I can operate this mower. I did install a turning knob to help with hard turns. Replaced steering wheel with a ford 8n tractor wheel to give me more leverage.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe

Used to cut a 6,000 sq ft area. The armature of the motor spun on the shaft. Extremely poor quality.

Exceeded my expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this mower about a month, this is my first zero turn. A little bit of practice and I feel comfortable with using it. I am a little older, female, and did not want to haul gas or have to work on a motor. I am very happy with the mower. Easy to use and does a great job. Good battery life, I can pull my spreader or use the bagger I bought with it. I am a newbie but sold immediately and have now purchased edger, blower and pruning saw.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Durable, Effective, Powerful

Upgradeable?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower when it first came out. Initially Greenworks calculated that you would be able to cut 1 acre, but you would be lucky to get through half an acre with the supplied batteries. Luckily I have purchased other products in the 60v battery line and that has made it possible to get through about 3/4 of an acre. They have recently released a new version of this mower that supports a bigger battery but there is no way to get that battery to to work on the original model. I'm a little annoyed at this, because the bigger battery would make it possible to cut my acre without needing to recharge. A few things that are yet to be resolved. The side discharge broke a few months in and there's no way to purchase a replacement part; no worries, maybe I upgrade and purchase the rear discharge, unfortunately there's nowhere to be found even though it was advertised at time of purchase. I feel that this product has been forgotten.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
