I love my new electric mower. Why did I wait ?

I am very impressed with how well the Greenworks Pro 60V Mower w/ 5.0 Ah battery operates. I have used it twice now, once as a mulching mower and once with the grass catcher attachment. In both instances, there was enough power to mow both my front and back lawns, on one charge of the battery. The instructions for assembly were both clear and concise. The area needed to store the mower is one third of that that was used for a gas mower. Post mowing clean up of the mower was done with a electric blower and a shop rag. After 35 years as a municipal landscape maintenance professional, I can surprisingly say, that my gas mower has been officially retired !

This mower has been a dream. Coming from a early 2000s Briggs and Stratton 22” there is no comparison. More power, has not bogged on me. Plenty of battery life for my corner lot and a great cut. Being able to stand it up for storage is also a major plus. Love everything about it.

Bought this and battery charged correctly one time. Replaced battery and same thing. Also, the grass has to be dry. Never completely dry so mower is worthless to me.
Pros: Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this mower as a gift from a friend and all in all, is a pretty nice mower. I love it’s automatic shut off feature when I happen to damage the blade or run over a “less than ideal” item. It’s always quick and easy to start/assemble, requires almost no maintenance, and is easy to adjust. However I was disappointed to note it’s continual difficulty with completing my 0.75 acre yard with a single charge and additional batteries are quite pricey. Second, the grass expelling port on the side would continually get clogged and shut off the mower. I actually had to keep a stick on hand just to flick it out. The padded handle for the push mower started to tear after the first month. In summary, I still think it’s a great mower and it is possible that I put a great amount of stress on the machine given that I posses a rather large natural area in my back yard and may have contributed to the inability to clear the task in one go but rather use another battery. I would recommend for small yards on flat or slightly elevated terrain.

GREATEST LAWN MOWER EVER

i just bought this lawn mower and found it to be the best investment i could ever make. I've mowed a great deal of lawn with many other kinds of lawn mowersand in my seventy years believe me this does the job. I have St. Augustine grass and it is really and unbelieveablly thick 4" grass and hard to move with a regular standard lawn mower. But this lawn mower and it being self-propelled is great not one problem or hitche. I also bought the Greenwork battery operated blower and trimmer as well. these three items have made my mowing the front and back yard a whole lot easier and more comfortable. believe me you can't go wrong with this lawn mower,

I was skeptical about battery operated lawn mower but Greenworks does make good quality products. I bought 60v self propelled. Out of box took me 5min to set up. Fully charge battery lasts me more than hr of mowing with half used as self propelled. No issues so far!

IAM in love with my lawnmower

Just used this awesome machine to cut my huge yard. It works perfectly. Way better and safer and less hassle than a heavy, pain in the butt gas lawnmower. I am a disabled female. And I couldn't do my yard with the gas mower I had, not to mention the hassle if was to maintain and start. I will never own anything gas powered again. I mowed my front and back on 2 charge. The self propelled feature is fast and powerful but I didn't even need it because this machine is easy to maneuver and turn. My neighbor came over and said you mowed this all by yourself? He couldn't believe it. Best purchase I've made in a long while
