I upgraded to the 60V from the 40V. What a big difference! I wanted to keep the small, light weight footprint, but I wanted more power to push through taller grass. I found with the 40V I was mowing often to avoid tall grass which taxed the mower, not terribly, but noticeably, and also ate up battery life. As it was I needed 2 batteries for the lawn, and sometimes, a third. Now with the 60V, I can get the lawn done with two 5 aH batteries. Also the 60V has like an automatic Turbo feature for when the mower encounters taller thicker grass. I don't feel I have to mow as often to avoid tall grass. Also the 60V has a better foam grip on the handle than the 40V.
I bought this mower and have used it a couple times, and couldn’t be more pleased. Cuts great, pulls great, and batteries run as long as they say they will! And I have a pretty rough yard, since it’s new and not completely smoothed out yet.
My new lawn mower was delivered in May 2022 I've already used it 4 times. What can I say, it's quiet, powerful came with two 60v batteries and the charger. When one battery drains down, it automatically switches to the 2nd battery without missing a beat. If it comes across taller and thicker grass it automatically goes into turbo mode, or you can put it in turbo mode manually. It has a 25 inch cutting path and dual blades. Without a doubt the best mower I've ever owned. Oh yeah, and no gas, oil, noise and exhaust. With todays gas prices this mower has been a blessing.
I am very pleased with this mower. Fairly quiet, easy to stop and go. I can't wait to NOT change the oil. Turn over to clean? No problem, no gas. The battery charges pretty quick, too. Other features are nice. Folding, handle positions. Only issue is maximum deck height, 3.5".
an electric mower that cuts as well as a gas mower

Finally. I have been hating my gas mower for years but was unwilling to trade in for an electric mower that cuts grass poorly or that has a battery life that meant I had to mow in stages. The 60 volt 25" mower cuts like a dream. It takes about two hours to mow our lawn. The mower has two batteries. Once one battery is dead it goes in the charger, when the second one dies the first battery goes back in the mower only partially charged but is enough to finish the lawn.
I mistakenly ordered the manual push mower instead of the self-propelled version. I found that the manual push is far easier than a gas version and am able to push this up the incline in my yard. The mower performed very well and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone considering a battery powered mower.
I have always been skeptical of battery operated power tools, seems like they always run out of battery power in the middle of a project. With new battery technology I took a chance and bought the 21" cordless, brushless lawn mower by Greenworks. It was very easy to assemble, no tools needed. I'm pleased to say that after using it the first time on my .75 acre property it performed like a champ. It comes with two batteries, 60v each, that take 40 minutes to charge, and an extra blade. When finished mowing, it still had power in the first battery, never having to use the second. The mower is quiet compared to a gas mower, very light and powerful with self propelled speed control and a turbo feature for heavy grass. All the controls, including battery meter, are on the handle which make the mower very easy to start, operate and maneuver. The grass catcher is very light and is easy to put on and take off to empty. There is also a side vent that can be opened for grass distribution. The lawn looked immaculate when I finished. My neighbor was so impressed by the results that he bought one the very next day, and he is very pleased with the results. I don't have a big garage, but the mower takes up very little room since the handle can easily be folded down and the mower placed on end and in a corner. No need to worry about gas or oil leaking out and making a mess. No carburetor, magneto, cables, oil changes, or winter storage to worry about. This mower is one of the best investments I have ever made
