Everything is good except for the battery life is not as advertised! It just lasted about 20 mins, I have to use 2 batteries to finish my work ,kinda of disappointed.

Hello LoveLinesS,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are feeling let down by the run time that you are currently receiving. The run time is dependent on the load acting against the unit among other factors.
On your next mow, please utilize the following tips to extend your run time!
1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.

Fun to use, but batteries do not last long enough to mow 1/2 acre

Purchased a little over a month ago. Have 1/2 acre lot, relatively flat (with a house in the middle - so much smaller than 1/2 acre of grass to mow). Cuts well and is easy to use, but the Mower either runs out of juice right at the end or only has 1 bar of capacity left in the 2nd, 4AH battery. Batteries come off the charger right before mowing. Was thinking of getting a zero turn version, but if their mower can't handle 1/2 acre, not sure how well the zero turn will do.

Very happy with it so far. I have about .35 acres of land and had 2 bars of battery left. I enjoy how quiet it is. I do think it feels a little flimsy and rattles some. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase. I had a reel mower at my old house and regret not getting an electric one sooner!
I love my new mower. It’s actually my 2nd Greenworks 60 V mower, previously I had been transporting my older Greenworks mower between our 2 homes, and I was tired of that. A great mower at a great price!
Having recently bought a home that required me to cut my own lawn I needed to purchase a lawn mower. Being an advocate for electrifying cars to reduce carbon emissions I had to explore electric mowers. However, as I had mowed lawns in my teens and twenties, I was hesitant for I was still used to professional heavy-duty equipment. This mower is solid, has the power to cut high grass and even better the charge lasts mowing my lawn three times. (Very small lawn.) I would definitely recommend any product from Greenworks.
Fantastic lawn mower. It is powerful, quiet, and the runtime is fantastic. It is also lightweight and stores tightly (upright). This mower has proven to be better in every way compared to the gas mower that it replaced.
I gave my 21” self propelled mower to someone else in order to use the 21” brushless mower that is not self propelled.. Do not regret my decision at all.. This mower has NO bells and whistles on it that the other one had, but the power and efficiency of this outweighs all of that.. I’ll cut my entire lawn on one 2.5 AH battery where the other mower would almost go through a 5 AH battery for the same space.. VERY happy with this purchase..
