Was so excited when it was delivered! I opened ans so easy to put together ❤ and makes mowing fun! Quiet and plenty of power It the best purchase I've made in a long time.no smoke,no gas fumes or spilling its awesome. The only thing I wish i would have done is get a self- propelled.
I was so tired of commencing war on my gas mower...just to get it started! Not to mention the price of gas these days. I have used it several times now am so pleased with the purchase I made! Easy to set up out of the box, easy to start as well as ease of setting up whether I want to bag the grass or not. If you have a large yard and want to get it done in one fell swoop, buy two batteries (and don't forget to order a charger as it doesn't come with) otherwise, I just have one battery and take a break in between charges. (only one in-between charge with my rather large city lot) The weight is similar to my Lawnboy, which is great as I don't have even ground to mow. So glad I bought a Greenworks mower!
So much easier than traditional lawn mower. I love how light it is and the options for a pretty high cut. Its so easy to turn and push that it really makes lawn cutting a breeze. Quick easy start and so quiet, you can actually hear when someone is approaching you. I have about quarter acre (2 tennis courts) of lawn to mow and have had no problems finishing long before battery runs out. I haven't had any problems with starting the lawn mower. I do tend to make sure batteries fully charged before i start.
My only downside is that not all tools use same batteries or same charger. So we have multiple chargers set up to handle each tools separate battery.
This was an upgrade for me from the 40v that I'd had for years. Love it so far. Very easy to start. Haven't even had to have 2 batteries onboard to have it switch over because it can do so much with even one.
I have had the mower for about 5 weeks love it so far it shocks me every time i mow how well it works as you dont get the audio feedback of a gas mower.
Have only used our new mower once but already it is more comfortable than our 20 year old gas mower. It may be a little lighter but for sure the higher position of the handle makes it easier to push. Our lawn isn't huge but it takes 20 minutes or so, and it still had about 1\2 its charge left afterwards. The single lever height adjustment is pretty slick, as is the folding handle. Not sure the benefit of the LED headlamps, but I may have to try some night mowing.
Cuts my entire yard with battery life to spare. Did not want to deal with gasoline storage and the smell. Was afraid a battery powered lawnmower would not be up to the task. Bought the walk behind because thinking it would save battery life. Turns out it wasn’t needed. If I had to buy another Greenworks mower I would get the self propelled. Also bought the weed trimmer. I usually trim the yard first, then drop the 60v 2.5 ah battery in the mower. Get about 1/8 through before it automatically switches over to the 5 ah. After finishing the yard I still have 2 bars left (out of 4). Very happy with the purchase.
