60v mower not what I expected

I was on the fence about a new mower because my gas mower was 12 years old and needed updating. So I pulled trigger on electric. After approx 2 years of once or twice a month mows, I can say the only thing I like about this mower is the led lights Amd the metal deck. That’s it. It takes twice as long to mow because I have to go back over it to get it looking good. And one of the batteries was drained after 5 minutes of mowing. Although they are sending new battery. But I will be going back to gas. Just more reliable and has more torques. Plus gas cuts right the first time. For the price of this unit, you would think it would be bulletproof but it has its issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cut quality… horrendous!!!!!!

I’ve used this mower multiple times and the quality of the cut is terrible. In the middle of the cut it will leave high blades of grass sticking up. I’ve tried using both sets of blades they send with the mower but neither result in a good cut. I’ve never used a mower that has performed this poorly. I’ve been on hold with customer service for over an hour and I have still not gotten through to an agent. My biggest mistake was thinking this brand would produce a good mower. Go with a proven brand, this brand has a long way to go.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 at a time.
2. Mow when grass is dry.
3. Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass.
4. Alternate mowing patterns each time you mow. As grass develops a grain based on your cutting direction it will lean towards the direction of your mowing path. Changing the pattern allows better vertical growth and helps to keep the cut neater.
5. New or thick grass may require a narrow cutting path.
6. For the best results keep the lawn under 4" in length and walk at a steady pace to allow the blades to cut efficiently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] surprisingly light and easy to walk behind. with a 25 inch deck and being so light it is quicker and easier on the body to mow the yard. we have a very hilly yard and it has no problems with that either. we are all in now on battery operated yard tools (an all of ours are from Greenworks...) !

We bought this lawn mower a few weeks ago. It was delivered within days of ordering it. The set up was super simple. The lawn mower cuts well and we were really surprised by how much grass it can cut on one charge. We love our new mower! We’ve been talking it up to everyone we meet!

No replacement high lift blade available

I have had this lawnmower for 2 years and while mechanically it works fine, the standard blade that comes mounted on the mower is pretty useless at picking up any type of leaves. The high lift blade that comes with the mower is needed to pick up the leaves and use of turbo mode which eats battery life real quick, not an issue if you have multiple batteries like I do. What’s amazing, while they include the high lift blade with the mower, they don’t offer a replacement, and have no idea where to get one. If you are just cutting grass and mulching and you keep your grass short you may be ok, otherwise look elsewhere for a mower if you like to bag and leave your lawn a little higher. If the high lift blade was available for replacement I would say this mower would be a good buy.
