Greenworks Tools 21-inch Self Propelled Brushless Lawn Mower is a superior line of high quality products that's very effective and easy to use. This lawnmower is very quiet and eco-friendly features are absolutely stupendous ! The long lasting battery is fantastic and it allows you to complete the task easily with one charge. This is a powerful lawnmower and it's a trailblazer for all other competitors.
This is a great mower for a 5000 square ft yard. Plenty of power and smooth cut. I got this after having excellent experience with 60v blower and trimmer.
I finally had the chance to use my Greenworks Tools Pro 60V Trimmer and Mower this weekend. I couldn’t be more happy with these products from beginning to end. They each arrived fast and well packaged to my home and were both super easy to assemble. It is basically plug and play with these tools and took all of 20 minutes from unpack to fully assembled ready to go (minus the battery charging which took around 30 minutes per battery). I was surprisingly happy with how quiet these were, with the ability to still hear my headphones without blasting it in my ear. In addition, the strength is just as good as any gas mower / trimmer I have used in the past, cutting through runners with one pass. And the battery life has not been an issue, although I would suggest that if you have a larger lawn, to go with at minimum a 2.5A battery. The 5A has not stopped once. One of the great things about these is no pull cord on either machine and super quick and easy to start and stop by just using the triggers. This is so much nicer than dealing with choke options and cords on the gas powered units. I would highly recommend these to anybody with a lawn looking for a new mower or trimmer and I would not think twice about this decision again.
I’ve been using the same lawnmower, an Italian machine called The Harry, for 25 years. The Harry is a beast. It weighs slightly less than an elephant. And for a quarter of a century it’s been a champ. But, like it or not, it was time for a change. My back just couldn’t take it anymore.
Enter the Greenworks 60v self-propelled mower. It’s racing-car sleek, with beautiful lines and gorgeous paint. Leaving the Beast for the Greenworks machine is a little like going from VCR tapes to blu-ray discs. The difference is that startling.
This Greenworks mower is a miracle. The lithium battery goes and goes, and gives this mower substantial power, with the result that my weekly lawn cutting is easier than it’s ever been. Because it’s self-propelled, the mower’s doing all the heavy work. I guide it with a light touch, fooling with the variable self-propelled speeds until I’m practically jogging behind it. It’s so much fun, the first time I used it I laughed out loud for the sheer pleasure of it. And then I cut my neighbor’s lawn. Because I didn’t want to stop.
Now, this honeymoon won’t last forever. I’m not doing my neighbor’s lawn every week. But I know this much: I’ve found my mower for the next 25 years.
This mower is absolutely fantastic. I was a little nervous thinking that it would be too heavy, but once it is on the ground it moves like butter. The adjustable speed is nice, and the handle height adjustment is outstanding. My kids can mow at a comfortable height, and then I can easily adjust it to my height to get the spots they missed. The vertical storage is great to keep the garage floor clear. While the specs say that it can run up to 30 minutes, I have used this time and time again to mow my 1/4 of an acre, plus the grass along my alley wall, and the battery still seems to have juice. Most battery mowers don't cut as low as this does, which makes this great for preparing to overseed. And on top of all of these wonderful features, it there is no gasoline or oil to worry about, and it is quiet. I can easily carry on a conversation while mowing. While the price tag may seem a little steep, considering that there is almost no maintenance and no fluids to purchase, this mower is easily cheaper than a gas powered mower. Plus it will probably last forever. My last Greenworks mower lasted for 4+ years and I never had to replace a battery or anything else on it. I only replaced it because I fell in love with this beast.
