It didn’t work properly from the moment it arrived. The rear wheel only rotated one turn in either direction and the self propelled feature only works 50% of the time. It drains both batteries very quickly. It only cuts half the size lawn that my other (single battery) lawnmower could do before both batteries are dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues with this lawnmower and we would be happy to investigate these matters with you. Please note that it's important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! It goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains. Here are a few mowing tips! 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. We hope these tips will help! If not, we would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please kindly contact our customer support center at 1-888-909-6757 or submit an email to info@greenworkstools.com using the subject line "Help Request: Reviewer Response".
It’s a great product and with two batteries used simultaneously just increases the run time. The charging is also super fast and more importantly both batteries can be charged at the same time.
Quiet, easy to use & handle. Pretty much one battery pack handles up to 90% of my yard before it needs to switch over. Does a great job at cutting the grass. And since getting my trimmer, I have named them both after the comic duo, Laurel & Hardy. Laurel is the trimmer and Hardy is the mower.
This is working like a charm. I started mowing lawn recently. I tried recently with a Self-propelled Gas Lawn Mower. This is a ton better than Gas Mower. Less Noise/Pollution, Easy to handle.
I LOVE this mower. Fantastic battery time. I have about 30ish minutes of cut time for my property and I was able to go over it twice and part of it on turbo and only use one full battery of the two. The battery times are the best I've tried and I tried about 4 battery mowers prior to this one. 100% recommend it.
I tried using this lawn mower thought it would be easier since it was self propelled. It was not. the mower is VERY heavy and difficult to maneuver.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello WVHome,
Thank you for your review. We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve moving forward. We are sorry to hear that the unit has not fully met your expectations. Our self-propelled units should not need to be pushed at all when engaged, just directed. If the unit is hard to push, often this indicates that the height is set too low and the grass is too high. To discuss this concern further, please feel welcome to contact us directly at 1-888-909-6757 or by submitting an email to info@greenworkstools.com.
