The Best Lawn Mower That I Have Ever Purchased

Ok let us begin with a few facts; this is not a paid review, I got no discount for agreeing to write this, the comments and photos are all mine, both the good and the bad.
Let’s start off with the best feature first;
1. It cuts really well, and clean, no tearing of the grass. (Plus you can rear bag or mulch as it easy to change)
2. The height adjustment on the deck is super easy; one lever raises or lowers the deck to your cutting height.
3. Ease of Operation, push button starting, dual hand controls for cutting and amazingly easy to adjust the propelled speed. I thought the rabbit and turtle graphics should have been replace with just a simple S for slow and an F, for fast.
4. Starting gets a whole bullet point. THIS IS THE REASON I BOUGHT THIS.
At 74, it was becoming nearly impossible for me to keep pulling on the starting rope, on the gas powered mower, sometimes as many as 20 pulls. It was so bad I had to think about never cutting the lawn again. Then my Son suggested this Green works Lawn mower, he said “Pops no pulling just press the button”. So I decided to try it. And I loved it so much a purchased the Green works Trimmer to go with it.
It is really nice to enjoy doing my yard again, thanks in a large part to Green Works.
I didn’t buy it to save the world, I had a somewhat selfish reason; I wanted a lawn mower I could start.
Let us review the bad;
The only bad; when this bad boy arrives it is one big and heavy box. So I had the driver place it on a moving dolly for me, which really made it a lot easier to unpack everything.
Added Bonus: it stores in so little space in my garage.
Sharing a few photos, Storage in the garage, front and back yard, right after cutting, (the hedges all cut with the Green Works trimmer) and KoKo Boy who loves the lawn right after its been mowed with my Green Works lawn mower. To answer the biggest question, would I buy it again? YES make that a double YES YES.

The 60v 4ah dual battery setup is the confidence i need to complete the cut

Not bad Greenworks, welcome to the game. The 60v self propelled lawnmower with 2x 4ah batteries does the job with confidence. I no longer fear that I will run out of battery power during the cutting. I have a half an acre to cut each week, and I find that I'm mostly using the first battery only. And I know that if I end up missing a week, using the Turbo button for the taller grass through out the mowing process won't keep me from finishing the cut. Hoping for the best, eager to see where this goes.
Best Regards

Love this mower

I got this mower a week ago, and I look for excuses to cut the grass. I bought this based on the reliability of the 80V Greenworks snow blower, trimmer and hand held blower I have. I had another manufacturer’s push 58V mower, and this self propelled one is better in all aspects. Very comfortable handle position, two batteries make using it a dream. The cut is very impressive without using the turbo mode. Sucks up clippings and leaves for a nice clean lawn. I also like the one handle height adjustment as I keep my front and rear yards at different heights. It’s also nice that it comes with a high lift blade for fall when the leaves fall. I am so happy I decided on this 21 inch mower, love the way it folds for storage freeing up shed space. I highly recommend this mower for anyone looking to switch from gas. Waiting on delivery of the new 700 CFM 60 v blower.

1st use: Great Mower!

While I have only used it once, it was a tough job and it performed great! I have a 5,000 sq ft yard and it was time to scalp before the growing season begins. I mowed the Bermuda Grass a notch lower than normal to clear the winter remains, also, used the bagging attachment. Everything worked as you would expect. There were a couple times I over loaded the motor and it would stop, but I really don't think this is an equipment issue, it was just really thick, dead grass. I used the Turbo button a few times and that gave it the extra power it needed. The self-propelled function was nice especially when cutting uphill in deep grass when pushing really became hard. My mower came with two batteries. I found 1 almost got the back yard (2500 sq ft) done. I plugged it in and ran off battery #2 while I finished up the back and moved to the front yard. Battery #2 wasn't enough to finish up the front, but battery #1 was done charging by the time I needed it so no delay waiting for the batteries to charge. I think this will be a great mower. Looking forward to the season!

First Use good but Glitches

Purchased 5-9 assembled mower without any problems. Didn't bother with the manual as it only required inserting the handle.
First use 5-12. My yard is 10K sq ft. I was able to mow with single battery charge and still have two bars showing on handle monitor. My grass was not especially long but there were areas more dense than others, and the mower automatically increased power to compensate. I played a bit with the turbo mode. All worked well
The overall work session was shorter than usual. Mower is light and easily maneuverable. I found a comfortable walking speed though that adjustment knob as pretty sensitive.
Overall very satisfied. BUT
One complaint/problem - the mower quit 3 times without any obvious cause. It just died, as if the battery got pulled. First time, I checked everything and all secure and OK. After each failure, mover restarted and work continued. IS there a heat issue? I live in central Florida. I am willing to consider the handle calipers which control the mower may be more sensitive than I expect. I will test this in future work sessions.
It would be annoying if this is a characteristic of the mower. Unsure at this point if it will be sufficient cause to return the product.

SOLID quality

I bought the first gen 40v mower, blower, trimmer, chainsaw, and the 2000psi power washer 7 years ago. I have used them HEAVILY! No maintenance, and all run perfect. Literally perfectly. Batteries haven't even lost any charge. I also rarely ever write reviews but I want this company to keep on going because when I need to buy more tools, I want to buy Greenworks. Seriously, it's quality stuff, and for a really good price. Buy this stuff not the imitators. The Chainsaw especially impresses and the mower. The trimmer is a good trimmer but not a good edge, maybe they fixed that since the first-gen. Other than that is 5 stars all around. I am not exaggerating. To be fair like I said, except that edger function being anemic on the trimmer, and the blower not being super strong (it's not meant to be) the stuff is great.

great mower

The benefits of battery powered equipment is pretty obvious. This mower is self propelled so going up hill is easy. It cuts well, I haven't had to sharpen the blade yet.
In addition to mowing grass, I have used it to maintain trails around my house. I had previously built the trails in the woods, but little stuff regrows every year. It can cut regrowing short saplings on very uneven ground. I set the blade up high and away we go. Changing the height of the wheels is very easy and completed at one point instead of each wheel. This mower is much tougher than I had expected
