Great mowing experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GreenWorks 60v electric lawnmower delivers on everything it advertises to do. The lawnmower is quieter than a normal gas run mower (by a lot), it is able to be stored vertically, the height adjustment lever is the easiest to use, it has a great LED light if you ever need to cut your grass at night and its self-propelled readiness is an awesome feature. With that being said, using the self-propelled feature will eat into your battery life during mowing I would say almost by 25%, bringing your runtime from 60 minutes to about 45 minutes. This was not an issue for us as we have a pretty average front and backyard, but if you are looking to mow anything that takes you longer than an hour I would opt for purchasing a second battery. As stated above, the noise reduction is extremely noticeable and a great plus if you like to mow your lawn early in the morning or late at night now that you have a perfectly bright headlight (pictured). Aesthetically, this mower gives you a “high-end” feel. From its weight, the rugged wheels and the very comfortable handles it gives you a modern experience with ease of use.

Excellent job on rough terrain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very eager to use this lawn mower! The box was nicely packaged and it required very little assembling(need a Phillips screw driver to attach the top handle). There isn’t much grass at this time of year but we did have random patches of dry grass that needed clearing. It did an excellent job on the rough terrain. It is very easy to power on and very easy to maneuver. Love the self propelling and turbo option. Both my husband and I used it and we highly recommend it. I was a little surprised with the sound made by the battery charger. It’s not super loud but it’s definitely not quiet. I did charge the battery for several hours (overnight).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best lawn mover that you can get.It is cordless and self-propelled so don't need to push hard as it drives byt itself. It is battery operated and it can be charged. We used it for one hour at first time and batteries still was good.It really cuts grass perfect as it has brushless motor as it delivers more power and runtime. It also has LED headlights that gives better visibility during early morning or late evening. It is quiet lawn mower doesn't make so much noice which is perfect if you want to lawn early in the morning or in the evening.Easy to store as it can be vertical storage with EZ Fold handles,it saves you space.I was really amazed with quality and durability as living in Texas this is very handful for us.

It just works!

It just works! I own multiple Greenworks Tools - Leaf blower, string trimmer and a twin force 40v lawn mower. Moved to a new home with bugger yard so upgraded to this one. To me, Greenworks is the Apple of lawn tools. There is a thoughtfulness of their products not found in many other brands. Be it the battery indicator on the handle or the soft closing of the battery cover or the turbo mode for thick grass, these subtle features just enrich your experience with the products. This mower gets the job done as claimed. The ability of add an additional battery is awesome as well.

I purchased this lawn mower a out a month ago and it has been a wonderful product!!! I had an electric powered lawn mower before but the inconvenience made me changed to battery operated cordless type. This lawn is light, quiet and it cuts like any gas type and it has the same power. The battery last about an hour, but because this is such a great product, I replaced all my tools with Greenworks. I purchased a string trimmer, a hedge trimmer and a axial blower so now I have 4 batteries! I just love this products!

amazing experience and quality: Quiet, start with a push of a button, no stinking of gas and oil, love the vertical storage. Most important - great performance - even on very high grass and weeds

Hello Katpet,
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the delay in responding to your concern. It's important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! It goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains. Here are a few mowing tips! 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.
We hope these tips will help!
