Defective battery

I like the mower but the battery is defective in less than a year.

To help troubleshoot, we recommend first ensuring the battery is fully seated in the charger and that the charger is plugged into a working outlet. Check the charger indicator lights for any flashing patterns, as these can signal temperature-related delays or charging issues. If the battery was stored in a very cold or hot environment, allow it to return to room temperature before attempting to charge again. It can also help to remove and reinsert the battery a few times to ensure proper contact. I like that you can see the battery charge levels up at the handle. It is also a good feature that you can switch between self propelled to regular by letting up on the handle. The self propelled speed feature can easily be controlled at the handle also. Great to use with thick grass and on hills.

Honestly When I bought this blade And I install it on my mower it says it was compatible But even on the high length setting Is when my grass too short For some reason I'm Having a hard time to find the compatible blade for my mower

Regretting buying this mower, horrible batteries

Major issues after 3 years, 6/6 bad batteries, error codes, etc. Within the first year my first of 6 batteries died. Greenworks replaced as it was still within the 3 year warranty. The next spring two more batteries died (originals) and GW replaced those. I'm now a few months past the end of my warranty and my last 3 original batteries have died. Now down to just the 3 replacement batteries. which seriously reduces my cut time.
Aside from this I'm getting error codes relating to both the electric motors that drive the cutting blades. I'm expecting that I'll have to either service or replace these motors.
Seriously wish I had found a different option.

Pleased with simplicity and intuitiveness of the setup out of the box, took maybe ten minutes. Pleased with fast battery recharging. Takes maybe 30 to 40 minutes to full charge. Pleased with the mulching performance. No grass clumps and no visible layers of cuttings on the lawn. I was able to mow front and back yards, about 1200 square feet, on one charge with two bars of charge left at the end. I am glad I bought this mower. It does the job nicely with minimal fuss on my part!

Bought this two years ago. Bought two extra batteries marked batteries 1-8 rotate them. I have1.5 ac. I get two cuts before recharge. Love this machine have trailer great yard worker. ALL Yard tools are know greeworks

I have had the 60v Greenworks 21inch mower for about a month. Battery run time excellent. Grass cut, power, mulching, all excellent. I use the mulcher bag with mulch blade. Bag is rather small and requires a couple of emptying for a half-acre yard. Takes a bit of getting for controls especially for backing up mower under trees, but once your familiarized no problems! I give this mower 5 stars. SO il and gas, no cranking. What a relief.
