Excellent mower. I love how it automatically speeds up when needed. Just push the power and go. Saves my back and shoulder from all the yanking I used to do. I have purchased almost ever GreenWorks 60 v product I can (along with pressure washer) and I seriously could not be more satisfied. No more gas, oil, or air filters. Time and money saving.

This mower is a delight to use - the battery is long lasting and it starts easily as well. The mower moves at a quick pace but is easy to keep up with. This is our first time with a battery driven mower and we would never go back to gas!

Works as expected. Mowed my small lawn today for the first time front and back. Battery last the whole time with about 25% left. Should be perfect as this is my first time mowing on a new construction. I expect future mows to be quicker. The only thing I didn’t really feel was much help was the self- propel. Could be that the sod is not established yet, but I would have been fine without the option on this lawn.

I searched for some time to get the right lawn mower for my yard and myself. Greenworks made the top of my list. Now that I have the lawn mower and used it three times it did not disappoint. Took 15 minutes less time with the self-propelled option and cut beautifully. What I used to dread, now I am looking forward to more time with my new mower. I highly recommend.

I read reviews that this mower with 5.0 60v would cut approx 1/4 acre. This battery only last 25 min and only cut about 1/8 acre. Works well for very small jobs.

Hello Bobby,
It is unfortunate to hear that the run time is unsatisfactory. The run time of a lawnmower is dependent on the load acting against the unit and fluctuates depending on the height setting, the terrain, grass height, type of grass, whether you are mulching, using self-propelled function etc - there are so many factors to consider. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few tips to help you extend the run time. 1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time. 2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass and ensure that grass is dry. Lastly, when the battery is placed in the charger the charger detects the temperature of the battery and will begin charging once it cools down slightly to charge. This is normal operation based on the protection system in the charger. All is operating as intended. We hope these tips will help you with the issue you have encountered, however, if they do not please kindly contact us at 1-855-345-3934 or by email on info@greenworkstools.com. We would be happy to look into this for you.

I have a large corner lot and the battery lasted with 1 bar remaining. It cut smooth and was super easy to maneuver. I have st augustine grass and it had not problem cutting it. I am happy with my purchase so far.
