Rear wheel drive design is second best. Mower deck lever protrudes beyond the deck and gets caught on fence posts, retaining walls, etc. That said, I've used the mower once and like the low noise level and it cuts the lawn well. I need to get used to the rear wheel drive but the mower deck lever can easily be engineered to stay in its lane. Batteries are nearly perfect for my size lawn. About 12,000 sq. ft. The turbo feature does use more power and is not necessary for regular mowing. It may be good to use that feature in the fall for picking up leaves from my mid west lawn.

The self-propelled feature is not usable in reverse. They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. We hope this helps. Love the Self-Propelled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mower for a month and it's great. This mower actually has the self propelled speed I was looking for, one that can keep up with my walking pace. I hated other manufactures self propelled, I was actually pushing still at their maximum speed. Run time on batteries are as expected. So much better than gas!!!!

The mower handles well and does a great job cutting my lawn. I have about a half acre and with two batteries still had 50% of a charge left.

Since we already have 4 other 60volt Greenworks tools we ordered the 60v ..25” Greenworks self-propelled lawn more! Set up was a breeze and after one or two passes she was a pro! ( I just had a knee replacement plus I really don’t want to mow!! Ha Ha! She was able to mow the whole yard w/o recharging which was great plus she seemed to really enjoy it!

Like the 25" cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 60V 25" walk behind mower bought June 2023. No issues cutting 3/4 acre lot. Bought 2nd one July 2024 60V 25" wife now cuts lawn with me. We are in our early 70's. My son-in-law bought 60V 25" July of 2023 no issues. I have loaned the mower to 2 neighbors. They both now have GreenWorks 60V 25" walk behind mower. Just keep the blades sharp. Hopefully this helps.
