I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this mower and so far I’m very happy with it. I’ve only used it about 3-4 times so far since I purchased it towards the end of summer. The controls are pretty easy to use and the batteries charge quickly. Today I used the mower to mulch all the leaves in my yard and it did a great job however the batteries only lasted about 25-30 minutes because I was using the turbo feature to power through the leaves. So I probably won’t do that again and only use the turbo feature for certain smaller sections. The mower is pretty quiet compared to gas mowers and the self propulsion is a great feature especially since my lawn is uneven. As I said haven’t had too much experience with cutting my lawn yet but so far I love this mower. Highly recommended.
After many happy, but loud, years with my Honda gas mower, I am thrilled I tried this Greenworks mower. I still have the Honda if I need it for especially difficult leaf pickup or wet grass. But I've used this new Greenworks twice and i could not be happier. Quiet, powerful, works like a charm. Feels very gratifying knowing the mower delivers on all fronts as the advertising specified. I have a decent sized front, side and back yard, but with two 4.0 batteries installed, I only power through 50% of the one battery. Very impressive. All indications are it cuts grass as well as my Honda. Did I mention I couldn't be happier. And at this very moment it's tucked away vertically in my shed! Battery charged real fast. Two more days and I get to take it out to play!

Easy to use lawn mower. Battery life is good. It’s hard to get use to the self propelled. There is a hesitation before it kicks in and when you stop the rear wheels lock up until you release the self propelled function and move the mower forward manually. Just takes. It takes a little while to get used to it. 4 year warranty is great. The plastic wheels concerns me but no issues so far.
The battery life is to short. After fully charging both batteries in less than 10 minutes they need to be recharged.

Hello John Montgomery,
We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the run time of this battery. Depending on the tool, 10 minutes when using this battery could be normal. However, in most cases a 10-minute run time on a 4.0AH battery would be considered abnormal. The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use. So that we can appropriately address this issue, we ask that you please reach out to us directly at 1-888-909-6757 or submit an email to info@greenworkstools.com for further troubleshooting. We hope to hear from you soon.
My old gas lawnmower was puttering out and when looking for a replacement I started looking at cordless models. Simply put, I love my new lawnmower. With dual batteries, I can cut my 1/2 acre yard without recharging. Mower has plenty of power, cuts great, and is easy to use. No need to fuss with gas or oil, just push a button and it starts right up. Easy to adjust cutting height with just one lever. Batteries charge quickly. Fold up handle means it takes up very little space when stored in the garage. Steel deck means it should last and gives it the feel of a “real” lawnmower. Very easy to engage or disengage self drive feature so you can use it only when you need it. Overall, a great product.
We've had this mower for about a month. Love it! It's easy to use. The cut is even. It's easy to adjust the height for the cut as well as adjusting the handle. One favorite feature is how quiet it is.
