I am still learning to get the best out of this mower. It cuts great on high settings and you don't rarely need turbo power. I only use the self propel when I need to .You have plenty of options with this mower, mulch, side discharge or bagging. It has lots of safety features such as no rollback when the wheels are disengaged and a safety plug for the batteries. The battery charger is awesome as after the batteries are charged it shuts itself down.

Awesome mower

I bought this mower after going through several gas mowers over the years. My first cut went great! I have been short on time the last few weeks and my back lawn got out of control. It was about 15-18 inches tall. It is also very thick and my gas mower always bogs down and stalls out. This happens no matter how often I cut it. The green works pro 60 volt went through it no problem! I set it on the highest setting and went to town. This machine didn't bog down once. After one mowing the first battery had 1 bar left. I lowered it to the middle height and mowed it again. Again this time no bogging down. It cut it like a champ. Once I finished cutting it the second time I had half of the charge left in the second battery. Total mow time was about 50 minutes. I am seriously impressed with this mower. Time will tell how it holds up but so far I love it. Great product so far.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the middle of my third season with the pro 60 volt, 21 inch mower. I actually stopped in the middle of mowing to write this because it is so aggravating. I like the convenience of the electric mower. I already had the 60v string trimmer and the 60v leaf blower which influenced me to buy the Greenworks mower. Both of those tools are great. The mower however, has some issues. The first one I encountered was the height adjuster not holding. I tried, unsuccessfully, to secure it but now I just keep checking that it hasn't dropped because it scalps the lawn badly when that happens (more than once a season). The really stupid problem though, is they put a 21 inch deck on a 20 inch cut. I.E. the deck is too wide for the blade. All this does is make it impossible to get close to obstacles. The funny/deceitful part is they boast in big bold letters; "21 inch deck"! I guess they think no one will ever notice that it's really a 20 inch mower. False advertising?
Pros: Convenient, Quiet, Durable

features it doesn't have

I love this mower for the features it doesn't have: no gas tank, no oil, no spark plug, no carburetor, no pull rope. As far as I can tell it is maintenance free, except for cleaning. No waiting for engine to cool before cleaning with hose. Just flip it over in any position to hose down without any fluid leakage. Has more power than my Honda GSV 190 mower. With self propulsion at full speed, you would almost have to jog to keep up. The only adjustment is the very easy height adjustment that is done with one for all four wheels. After using this mower, I would never consider going back to gasoline engine. BUY IT

Not Powerful Enough

I wanted so badly to like this lawnmower since I already have the Blower and Weedeater and love them. This summer I finally made the switch to the electric lawnmower with high hopes, but have been disappointed. I had new Zoysia sod laid back in March/April and it has been growing very well, enough where I have to mow twice a week. However, even with raising the deck, the lawn mower still gets caught up and shuts off. I've tried bagging, mulching and exiting and I have the same problem. Super frustrating as I've never had this issue with my gas mowers. Regret.

Worked great for 2 mos. Then the self-propel feature worked less and less until it became useless. I jumped through every hoop, but never was able to hear back from anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently lost my job of 21 years and in an effort to save some money this year, I knew I'd have to cancel my weekly lawn service. My biggest problem with mowing is that I have a very difficult time starting gas pull starts. I am so thankful for the progress electric tools have made. I should have made this change much sooner. I got the mower put together by myself and was able to start the mower right up. It took me very little time to get the hang of the self propulsion feature. I'm so happy with this mower. Now I'm trying to figure out how to work the trimmer and blower into my new budget!
