Dead On Arrival and NO SUPPORT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this mower on May 11, 2025 and it arrived on May 14th. I unboxed it, read the instructions and charged the battery accordingly. I put the battery in the compartment and went to try the mower and it didn't run. All the LED's showing the battery level on the handle lit up and the headlights lit up and stay lighted when the power button is pushed and the trigger handles are squeezed, but the motor doesn't run. It doesn't even attempt to spin. I checked for things like a disconnected plug somewhere but I cannot find anything obvious.
In keeping with the 'rules of engagement' for the review I will keep this about the product...

Hello keyboards.
We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing with your 60V Mower. There are a few reasons this may happen. 1. The newer design lawn mowers have a built-in safety switch at the bottom of the handle. If the handle is not locked in place properly the mower will not start or stall out after a few seconds. 2. Battery aliment. Check that the battery is correctly connected to the battery compartment. Open the battery door. Align the ribs on the battery with the grooves in the battery compartment. Push the battery into the battery compartment until the battery locks into place. Lastly, startup is often a common reason the mower does not start. To start the unit. Pull back on the green handles while simultaneously pressing the (green) start button, please note the blades will turn off if you release the green handles.

Amazing Mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with Greenworks and with battery powered lawn equipment. I have to say that I was extremely impressed with this product. The cut was great. The seat was extremely comfortable. I was able to cut over a half an acre with 75% of my batteries left...and that was with taking my time and really testing it out. I can't wait to try more products from Greenworks!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far the best zero-steer mower I have used. It cuts fantastic and hauls a decent amount of weight. We have been seeding our recently graded yard and it's be great to be able to have the bag of seed and bag of fertilizer in the back so that I don't have to drive all the way back to the garage for a refill.
The only two issues that I have had is the tires spinning pretty easy, but it helped to air down the tires as they come way to pressurized. Then the cable stop for the tailgate easily gets jammed unless you are extra careful when closing it. But I tell you that dump box is by far the most fantastic part of the entire mower.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely terrible cut quality.

The cut quality with the twin 12.5 inch mowing blades is horrendous. As in, make four passes over dry tall fine blade fescue lawn and 30% of the grass is untouched. Just awful cutting performance. Everything else excellent. YOU HAD ONE JOB TO DO, cut the grass cleanly. You failed.

The cause of the streaking could be the way the user mows, but it also may be the result of some causes that create this problem. Overlapping each pass in the lawn you make with the lawnmower allows the mowing blades to contact each blade of grass and ensures no areas are missed. The overlap need not be very large. Overlapping by only 1 or 2 inches is enough. As you complete a pass and make your turn for the next one, line up the mower’s wheels with the indentation the wheels made during the previous pass.
Another suggestion to take into consideration, a clean mowing deck. Over the course of the mowing season, the underside of the mower’s deck collects dirt, mud, and grass clippings. Even if you mow your grass when it’s dry, the blades still attract some moisture, which tends to make grass clippings clump underneath the deck. This debris hampers both air and grass clipping movement inside the deck. Streaking could be one indication that the deck needs cleaning. With the battery removed or mower unplugged check the underside. Scrape off grass, mud and dirt clinging to the deck by using a wired brush, be careful not to cut your hands on the mower blades.
Lastly, bent blades and those with severe nicks in them also cause streaks. Examine the condition of the blades while you are cleaning the deck. If a blade is bent, replacing it is the best course of action. The same is true if a blade’s cutting edge is badly damaged. Because the blades rotate at high speeds, collisions with rocks and other solid objects are enough to damage the blades beyond the point they can be ground to good mowing condition. The cutting edge of lightly nicked blades or dull blades can be restored by using a bench grinder or getting the blades sharpened by a professional.

Mower arrived via shipper, looks good but has an occasional PMU fault Error

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought today, easy to prepare for use because the lawn mower was assembled completely in the box. I like the fact that it has 2 blades and the 8ah battery which should be enough to mow my yard completely on one charge. I really like the ease of speed adjustment while in use. I have not even mowed my lawn with it yet because I just mowed yesterday but took it for a little test run and it seems to be all they said it is and everything I need in a lawn mower
